Selena Gomez Freaked Out Over Her 'You're Watching Disney Channel' Wand ID TV Spot

If you’ve ever watched Disney Channel, you know that all the stars have filmed a “wand ID” for the network — you know, the “I’m so-and-so, and you’re watching Disney Channel” TV spots.

We’re pretty sure you’ve seen them all, too — and you also probably know that the Wand IDs are dreams come true for the stars — even Selena Gomez.

Speaking with IBT, Wizards of Waverly Place showrunner Todd J. Greenwald revealed that Selena actually freaked out over seeing her wand ID for the very first time.

“We all got together as a cast and crew, we went to the set, we went to the table reading room and we all just kind of had a big family viewing of it, the Wizards premiere,” he shares. “I remember Selena, we watched it, she goes, ‘Hi, I’m Selena Gomez, you’re watching Disney Channel,’ she did the whole thing and she flipped out.”

He added, “Selena‘s dream, at the time, was to do that and she saw it and she was freaking out that ‘Oh my God it’s real,’” he said.

“That was awesome to see. To see her do that, that was really cool.”
