Sam Smith gave the crowd a flawless performance of “Too Good at Goodbyes†at the 2018 BRIT Awards!
The singer took the stage at the event held at The O2 Arena on Wednesday (February 21) in London, England.
The track is off his hit album The Thrill of It All, which dropped back in September.
The stripped-down performance featured Sam walking across the stages and putting his powerhouse vocals on display in front of a bronzed background. He was joined by four backup singers.
“Sam smith is in a different league,” Niall Horan tweeted during the show.
“Brits. That was my favourite TV I’ve done yet,” Sam shared on Instagram. “Normally s–t myself (not literally) but, that was so fun. Thank you for having us & CONGRATULATIONS to all the winners & Nominees xxxxxx so deserved.”
The singer won two awards at the event held at The O2 Arena on Wednesday (February 21) in London, England.
She took home best British female solo artist and best breakthrough act.
“I want to thank every single female that has been on this stage before me, that has given girls like me, not just girls in the music industry but girls in society, [a] place to be inspired by, to look up to, and that have allowed us to dream this big,†Dua said during her speech. “Here’s to more women on these stages, more women winning awards and more women taking over the world.â€
She also donned a swimsuit and performed her hit song “New Rules” with a girls-only beach party on stage.
