On comparing himself to a cocktail: “An Old Fashioned: I’m as the name implies, a little bitter, a little sweet, and I’ll always make you feel great (unless you have too much of me, then you will get sick).”
On his celebrity crush: “Rose Byrne: she’s smart, funny, attractive, talented, smart, funny, wait I already said those. Sorry, this is what Rose does to me.”
On whether he wears boxer briefs or birthday suit: “All of the above!”
Beau will play Brad, a medical student, in the sci-fi reboot, which centers on a group of medical students who conduct near-death experiments to explore what “lies beyond,” to disastrous consequence. Ellen Page, Kiersey Clemons and James Norton also star.
Beau Mirchoff suits up for Heal the Bay’s 2016 Bring Back The Beach Gala held at The Jonathan Beach Club on Thursday night (June 9) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 27-year-old Awkward actor joined model Ireland Baldwin at the event, which saluted the eco-accomplishments of veteran water warrior Felicia Marcus and the beach lifeguard division of the L.A. County Fire Department.
“Supporting one of my favorite organizations @healthebay at their awards gala this evening,” Ireland captioned with her Instagram post. “Really beautiful work they do and people they gather together!”

The 27-year-old Awkward actor recently opened up about Matty and Jenna’s (Ashley Rickards) on-and-off relationship.
“I had a high school sweetheart, I’m sure many of us have. You really want it to work, and it seems so important at the time, but I think it’s more important for people to really experience things in life, other people,” Beau told TVLine.com. “If you come back to each other, that’s great, but there’s a lot out there.”
He added, “I will say there are blue skies on the horizon. He’s still on the water, navigating things … I don’t know why I’m using all these nautical themes, by the way. He’s still very much dealing with a lot of difficulties in his life, but things are becoming a little more clear with what he wants to do. He knows where north is, and he’s on his way home.”

Beau Mirchoff gets ready for a little fight in this hot new pic from his feature in Bello mag.
The 27-year-old Awkward. actor joked about the finale episode of the hit TV show.
“Everyone ends up together and there is a large event that takes place where everything is just put in line. There’s a reconciliation of some sort between Jenna and Matty, and I will say that Matty makes a grand romantic gesture. [Laughs],” Beau shared.
Beau is also featured in the new issue of Regard mag, and chatted about the show even more.
“This yea feels like a new show, people have real jobs and are navigating life in teh real world,” he said. “But, where some of the external things have changed, the heart and soul which made Awkward. great, is still at the forefront, and stronger than ever.”

Beau Mirchoff is opening up about the future of his character, Matty, on Awkward…and the future between Matty and Jenna.
The 27-year-old actor spoke with The Lowdown with Diana Madison about Matty’s future, if he and Jenna, played by Ashley Rickards, would end up together, and going behind the camera. Check it:
On Matty & Jenna’s future: “I can’t tell you [if they will survive] but I can say that Matty is going to open up a dialogue with her and lay everything on the line and hopefully they can reconcile…if not that’s okay, maybe they should go their separate ways and see what else life has to offer.”
On how his real life relationship differs: “My real life relationship is so boring compared to television relationships…nothing interesting happens. We don’t fight, we don’t do any of this crazy stuff. I don’t have to fly across the country to present my love.”
On Matty’s sole future: “I don’t think I would put Jenna and Matty together…Maybe Matty has a more positive attitude and becomes okay with his current state and goes back to school, gets a good job. Maybe we could jump after the finale and Matty has a job in insurance and is married with kids and coaches the soccer team.”
On directing an upcoming episode: “It’s 100 percent different. I just yell at people. Just yell at everyone [laughs]…They wanted me to succeed. It was really fun and the most stressful thing I’ve ever done, but I think I thrived at it.”
