Here's Why You'll See Bellamy Sitting on 'The 100' More in Season 6

Bob Morley might be lounging around on screen a bit more than we’re all used to seeing on The 100 in the upcoming season, but there’s a legit reason for it.

Turns out that over the summer, he had knee surgery.

Talking with IBT, Bob revealed that some things had to be changed around the set to accommodate his injury – but not much.

“I mean, I had a lot of different doubles come in [that] would run and walk for me,” he shared. “There’s a lot of Bellamy scenes where he’s sitting down. I mean, having an injury sucks.”

Bob adds, “I like to be physically active and all that stuff. So, to not be able to walk since July 20 ’til like [late September] is pretty frustrating. So, it affected me, in a big way. And maybe a little bit of the show.”

The 100 is expected to return in the late spring of 2019.

Bellamy & Clarke Will 'Pair Up Again as Leaders' in 'The 100' Season 6

Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor are dishing on the status of their characters, Bellamy and Clarke, respectively, in the upcoming season of The 100.

The co-stars, along with creator Jason Rothenberg, opened up in a new interview with TV Guide.

“This season starts with a little bit of a reckoning of some of the things that they went through last year, especially from Clarke’s side of things,” Jason said. “She left Bellamy to die and things like that. So they’ll definitely deal with that, but I think they both turn the page and figure out a way to be together on the same page. That’s when good things happen.”

Bob added that when season six begins, “the only way now is to start healing, that kind of emotional healing and building relationships back up.”

“I think they definitely are kind of pairing up again as the leaders, which is cool,” Eliza chimed in. “They’re basically having to wake people from cryo-sleep and catch them up to watch happened and basically very lightly explain to them that we’re on an entirely different planet and that Monty and Harper are gone.”

“They do try to approach it differently,” Jason revealed. “Monty at the end of last season in his sort of dying wish told them to be better, to be the good guys, and they’re going to try and do that. They’re really going to try and live up to that.”

The 100 returns to The CW at midseason in 2019.

Eliza Taylor & Bob Morley Talk 'The 100' Season 6

Eliza Taylor and Bob Morley are leaving subtle clues about what The 100 season six will bring us when it premieres next spring on The CW.

The two stars joined showrunner Jason Rothenberg at 2018 New York Comic Con over the weekend to talk about the upcoming season and it’s going to be like a brand new show.

We really are changing everything and the show is so different,” Jason shared.

The upcoming episodes will also slow down for Clarke, as she reflects on some of her previous actions.

“She holds a lot of guilt,” Eliza said. “I think one good thing about this season is there’s more conversation and dealing with the things we maybe skipped over last season.”

Bob Morley Talks The Big Reunion Coming on 'The 100'

The 100 fans – TONIGHT is the night!

The whole gang is getting back together on the show, but before that happens, Bellamy has to play negotiator to not only get Clarke freed, but also everyone trapped in the bunker, that just happens to include his sister, Octavia.

“Obviously, there’s a little bit of negotiation that’s got to take place…before anything can really happen in a kind of non-threatening environment,” Bob Morley shared with TVGuide in a new interview. “But I think [fans will] be really happy to see the team reassemble in a way, this adventure squad that will come back and start working together again.”

He adds that Bellamy’s negotiation skills are key in the episode.

“Bellamy now is a man of negotiation…hopefully Bellamy can make a deal even though he’s trying to use what he can right now, this mug, the captain’s “world’s best dad mug,” to negotiate Clarke’s release,” Bob adds. “Maybe he can use that leverage once again, but we’ll have to wait and see whether that works out.”

The 100 airs TONIGHT @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.

Bob Morley Dishes On Just Who Bellamy Is Thinking About In Space on 'The 100'

Bob Morley knows exactly who Bellamy is thinking about when he looks down from space to the planet in the countless The 100 teasers – and it’s not Clarke.

It’s Octavia – his sister!

“I think that’s the one that’s really killing him,” Bob confesses in a new interview about being separated from her. “That’s the one that he’s really thinking about.”

He adds, “I get asked about Clarke quite a lot but the way that I thought about it and played it was that Bellamy thought Clarke was dead, so Octavia is really the one that he’s concerned about and holding out hope for. That’s the real driving force for him is Octavia, his family down on Earth.”

“I think that whenever he’s looking out the window, that’s the one he’s thinking of.”

Bellamy, Octavia, Spacekru and more will return on The 100 NEXT WEEK!

Bob Morley Reveals How Clarke & Bellamy's Relationship Will Change in 'The 100' Season 5

Whether you like Bellarke as a romantic couple, or just friends, you have to admit that Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor are commanding in The 100 – which is why we’re very anxious to see how they reunite in the upcoming season.

Bob and showrunner Jason Rothenberg both teased the change in Bellarke’s relationship and just how Bellamy will find out that Clarke is actually alive.

“He doesn’t find out she’s alive from [Clarke] or from the reunion moment,” Jason shared with TVGuide. “Who tells him is kind of a cool reveal [and] surprise too. But it blows his mind.”

He adds, “They’ve all sort of internalized the fact that she died to save them and there’s talk of her in space before they come down, so it’s a huge shock to them, for sure, and it changes a lot of things.”

Bellamy, who presumed that Clarke sacrificed her life to save theirs, is one of the big reasons he works to be the person she would have wanted him to be.

“Clarke says to him at the end of [Season 4] that he has to use his head and his heart and I think he’s really taken that on board and applying that,” Bob adds. “[This mentality has] really forced him to become much more level-headed and understanding of other people. So in that respect, thinking that she has died has made him a much more grounded and level-headed person.”

Once he finds out she is alive, there’s another factor that changes their relationship going forward: her adoptive daughter, Madi.

“That element of Clarke becoming a surrogate mother will change her mentality towards the way she approaches things, so I think that dynamic between Bellamy and Clarke, I think that’s going to be the factor that changes the way they interact,” Bob says.

The 100 returns on April 24th on The CW.
