Katherine Langford‘s upcoming new series Cursed has been given a release date!

The upcoming show will premiere on Netflix on Friday, July 17th.

In addition to the release date announcement, the streaming service also debuted a new teaser trailer!

Cursed is a re-imagination of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of Nimue (Langford), a young woman with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake.

After her mother’s death, she finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a humble mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword.

Over the course of her journey, Nimue will become a symbol of courage and rebellion against the terrifying Red Paladins, and their complicit King Uther.

Cursed also stars Devon Terrell, Gustaf Skarsgård, Daniel Sharman, Sebastian Armesto, Matt Stokoe, Lily Newmark, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Emily Coates, Billy Jenkins, Bella Dayne, and Peter Mullan.

Daniel Sharman just booked a brand new role on Fear of the Walking Dead!

The former Teen Wolf actor, who starred as Isaac on the MTV show that will kick off the final episodes this summer, is joining the AMC series as a regular cast member.

Daniel will play Troy, who has a “wild temperament” and is “charismatic with a cruel streak.”

Carlson Young and Daniel Sharman are all smiles just ahead of their fan meet and greet in São Paulo, Brazil on Saturday (August 27).

The two MTV stars chatted about working on Scream and Teen Wolf, respectively, before an autograph session with the group.

“No matter what, we skype every day. That face-to-face communication makes all the difference,” Carlson recently told People about her relationship with fiance Foster The People‘s Isom Innis.

She added, “I wasn’t really working and he wasn’t on tour for the first six months we were dating. That created a great foundation. And we make sure we never spend more than two weeks away from each other.”

Carlson and Isom are planning an April 2017 wedding in Texas.
