“I can say that they are from Earth,” Jason shared. “They are from our time, so before the first apocalypse,”
So, what does that mean?
“[It] means they probably were in cryo-sleep because they’re not a bunch of 100-year-old men and women. There’s a couple new characters that we’ll meet that will be prominent like the leader of that group on the ship.”
He added, “They’ve come back to this planet that they don’t recognize. All that’s left is this Garden of Eden that Clarke’s been living in with her daughter [Madi].”
During one, Eliza and Bob both predicted how their characters have grown up since the season 4 finale, where we saw them separated and six years in the future.
“It’s much more wholesome and little, and I’m really excited about that,” Eliza says of Clarke’s new role, which isn’t a leader.
She adds, “I mean, obviously she’s gone through so much loss, so there would still be that feeling inside her but yeah, over those six years there would have been a lot of time to make peace an be less hurt by everything that’s happened.”
Bob adds about how Bellamy would’ve taken over that leader role that Clarke left behind.
“I think the whole group up there work well as a team. And the challenge is figuring out what’s going on on the ground.”
“It gets intense, man,” Eliza told TVGuide.com. “I think it’s fair to say that Clarke isn’t going to balance things as well as she has in the past because the stakes are just that high. Just when you thought our show couldn’t get anymore intense, it’s the end of the world again. I think people will be interested to see how she’s kind of losing it, but determined to push through.”
She added, “It’s going to be really different for Clarke in unspeakable ways. I think fans are going to love the ending. This has been my favorite ending to a season yet. It’s really cool.”

It looks like some fans of The 100 actress actually made shirts to wear that supported Eliza‘s mission to raise money for family friend Isla, who was diagnosed with leukemia.
“Just wanted to give a shout out to everyone who came to the premiere on Thursday and those of you viewing it tonight and tomorrow,” she wrote to fans on Twitter.
“I’m so fortunate to have lovely fans. To my sisters out there who made the tshirts for Isla – ALL of the love man, really x #thumpermovie,” Eliza added later.
