Jahzir Bruno is a name you need to get familiar with!
The young actor is really kicking off his movie career with two pretty big films, and first up is The Witches, out TODAY (October 22) on HBO Max.
Jahzir plays a young orphaned boy who, in late 1967, goes to live with his loving Grandma (Octavia Spencer) in the rural Alabama town of Demopolis.
As the boy and his grandmother encounter some deceptively glamorous but thoroughly diabolical witches, she wisely whisks our young hero away to an opulent seaside resort. Regrettably, they arrive at precisely the same time that the world’s Grand High Witch (Anne Hathaway) has gathered her fellow cronies from around the globe—undercover—to carry out her nefarious plans. Check out the trailer here!
Here’s a synopsis: It’s been two years since siblings Kate (Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis) saved Christmas, and a lot has changed. Kate, now a cynical teenager, is reluctantly spending Christmas in Cancun with her mom’s new boyfriend (Tyrese Gibson) and his son Jack (Bruno).
Unwilling to accept this new version of her family, Kate decides to run away. But when a mysterious, magical troublemaker named Belsnickel threatens to destroy the North Pole and end Christmas for good, Kate and Jack are unexpectedly pulled into a new adventure with Santa Claus (Russell).
Jahzir Kadeem Bruno is making his debut in the upcoming remake of The Witches.
The young actor stars as the young boy in the film, who you will actually only see for about half of the movie because he gets turned into a mouse!

As the boy and his grandmother encounter some deceptively glamorous but thoroughly diabolical witches, she wisely whisks our young hero away to an opulent seaside resort.
