Were you on social media at all last night? You probably were — and did you notice that the Jonas Brothers were trending?
No, it’s not 2013 again, it’s just that some fans got really excited about the band’s Instagram being “reactivated” — however, it was never deactivated in the first place.
It’s been up since their break announcement, trust us. So, why was the band trending again? This is why:
The band’s former keyboard player Ryan Liestman and his wife posted a photo alongside Nick, Joe and Kevin with the caption “Family reunion.”
A few days earlier, he had the same type of photo with other former Jonas Brothers backup musicians Greg Garbowsky and John Taylor.
Another reason this rumor spread all over the internet was because John was feeling a little nostalgic and headed to the JoBros‘ Instagram account, liking pics from years past.
So, summing up — JoBros never deactivated their band Instagram, and as for a real reunion? Maybe one day…just not today.
To end all the rumors, The Jonas Brothers DID NOT reactivate their IG account like y'all fake asses say they did.
John just started to follow the Jonas Brothers on IG and liked some photos from it. The Jonas Brothers IG acc has always been there yall just too blind to see. pic.twitter.com/Ckr3VvNzsU
“I don’t love the song ‘Pizza Girl’ that we did for our TV show [Jonas],” he said. “I think back to it and listened to it the other day and I was like, ‘I don’t love it.’”
“Not because I’m embarrassed by it or anything,” he explained. “I’m actually ashamed of my lack of creativity in the song-writing department. ’Cause they said, ‘You know, we need you to write a song about how you fall in love with the pizza girl and then you eat pizza every day.’ And of course, it’s literally that. I fell in love with the pizza girl, now I eat pizza every day. Doesn’t even rhyme and it’s literally just exactly what they asked me to write about.”
Listen to “Pizza Girl” below to take a trip down memory lane!
Still, that doesn’t mean the band didn’t teach him some life lessons that apply to the next stage of his career.
“When we were writing songs, we had a thing we called ‘Dare to Suck,’” the influencer marketer remembered to Adobe Creative Cloud in a video.
“No matter what bad line you put out there into the universe in that moment… it could trigger the right thing next. And I think I’ve tried to carry that through my entire life.”
It’s amazing that even though his life is in such a different place right now, Kevin still was able to use his experience in the band to inform his future career.
Not that Descendants 3 is a thing yet…but director Kenny is already dream casting the movie, and reading our minds, because he wants to get Vanessa Hudgens, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers back at the channel.
“I would like Miley [Cyrus] to come back and I would like Vanessa [Hudgens] to come back,” he shared with People’s Choice. “How about the Jonas Brothers could all come back and be our Lost Boys?”
He adds, “I’m a big fan of so many of the artists that have come out of the channel and have gone on to have great careers, those that I’ve had an opportunity to work with and those that I haven’t had an opportunity to work with.”
Can we get Vanessa and Miley as Drizella and Anastasia? That would be our dream!
