Laura Marano & Oakes Fegley Star In 'The War With Grandpa' Trailer - Watch!

Laura Marano and Oakes Fegley play brother and sister in the upcoming holiday movie The War With Grandpa!

Their character’s parents are played by Uma Thurman and Rob Riggle, and Robert De Niro is their grandfather.

Here’s a synopsis: Sixth-grader Peter (Fegley) is pretty much your average kid-he likes gaming, hanging with his friends and his beloved pair of Air Jordans. But when his recently widowed grandfather Ed (De Niro) moves in with Peter’s family, the boy is forced to give up his most prized possession of all, his bedroom.

Unwilling to let such an injustice stand, Peter devises a series of increasingly elaborate pranks to drive out the interloper, but Grandpa Ed won’t go without a fight. Soon, the friendly combatants are engaged in an all-out war with side-splitting consequences.

The War With Grandpa
is based off of the book of the same by Robert Kimmel Smith.

Christopher Walken, Cheech Marin and Jane Seymour also star in the comedy, set to hit theaters on October 9th.

The 24-year-old former Disney Channel star is returning to the network to host the Radio Disney Presents ARDYs Summer Playlist.

“I am so happy to be hosting the ARDYs! I have such wonderful memories of both my Disney Channel days and being a part of past RDMAs, so I was incredibly excited when I was asked to be the host this year,” Laura exclusively told JJJ. “I think this show is going to be very special this year, and our goal is to get all the families watching from their homes to dance and sing along with us throughout the show.”

Laura also revealed to us her favorite moment from past ARDYs/Radio Disney Music Awards shows.

“This is such a tough question because I truly have so many favorite moments (I know it sounds cheesy, but it’s true!). I think I would have to pick performing ‘Boombox’ live for the first time on television,” she said. “Not only did I get to perform with the lovely Sabrina Carpenter and Sofia Carson, but I literally got to do the ‘Boombox’ performance of my dreams. I was so nervous before stepping on that stage, but then I ended up having the best time.”

'Austin & Ally' Cast Have Zoom Reunion!!

OMG! The Austin & Ally cast reunited this week!

Ross Lynch, Calum Worthy, Laura Marano, and Raini Rodriguez got together virtually for a new interview and to reminisce, moderated by E! Correspondent Lilliana Vasquez.

During the chat, the cast dished on the first time they met, remembering their auditions, fan interactions and more five years after the show wrapped.

“I think of the auditioning process first and foremost and those first table reads we did of the pilot and all that stuff,” Ross said about auditioning. “I remember getting a call from [Kevin Kopelow and Heath Seifert], who were the creators of the show, and they were like, ‘Hey man, you got the job. How are you feeling?’ I remember I just kept saying, ‘I’m so pumped!’ They kept asking, they’d be like, ‘Yeah, what else, man?’ and I’d be like, ‘I’m pumped!’ That’s all I had to say. But, yeah, good times, good times. That was the first table read I ever did, was Austin & Ally.”

Ross, I’m not sure how you didn’t know you got it, because at the end of the process there was one person for Austin, Ross, there was one person for Trish, Raini, and there were two girls for Ally. So, I actually had no idea if I got it or not,” Laura added.

Laura Marano Performs 'When You Wake Up' Acoustic With Her Boyfriend - Watch!

Laura Marano shared a new video with her boyfriend!

The couple performed an acoustic version of her latest single “When You Wake Up“.

“Thank you @mtv for letting me perform for you, and thank you life for giving me a boyfriend who is so lovely and can play guitar,” she captioned the video. Aww!

Laura recently opened up about the meaning of the song and how it sets the tone for her upcoming “You” era.

“So it was more meaning-wise, I think, about a professional relationship than a personal relationship,” she dished to Apple Music. “Cut to a few months after writing that song, I did end up going through a breakup, so maybe, who knows, that also subconsciously influenced me as well while writing it. But for me the song sonically and even lyrically is vulnerable and emotional. There’s an empowerment and strength there of being determined not to continue the relationship if there isn’t going to be change.”

“‘When You Wake Up’ feels very emotional, very moody and really is the start of a bunch of moody, new emotional songs coming from me. And so I knew how special that song was when I wrote it and I knew I wanted to release it,” Laura added. “I just wanted this to be at the right time. And I feel like weirdly couldn’t ask for a better time on moody and emotional moments of my life. You know what I mean? So it feels very much relatable in my emotional state currently, which I’m kind of weirdly thankful for because it feels like a really genuine, honest moment in my life now, even though I wrote it three years ago.”
