Euphoria is preparing to get back to work!
It was just revealed that the hit HBO series will likely be resuming production in April for season two.
According to a new casting notice, the show is looking to cast a brand new lead role with a character named Jamieson, who is described as a 17-year-old black male. Characteristics include an outsider, might have a drug problem, might not, mischievous, funny, unafraid and sensitive.
In the notice, it also reveals that those submitting themselves for the role, must be ready to start production on April 5th in Los Angeles.
This would put production back on over a year after it was shut down due to the pandemic.
The cast sat down for the first table read of the season on March 11th, then three days later, it was revealed they had to shut down. Production resumed on the show briefly later in the year, with only a few characters for two special episodes that revolved around Zendaya‘s Rue and Hunter Schafer‘s Jules.
Jacob Elordi met up with one of his Euphoria co-stars over the weekend!
The 23-year-old The Kissing Booth star joined Maude Apatow for some shopping in New York City on Saturday (September 12).

The day before, Jacob was seen out holding hands with rumored new girlfriend Kaia Gerber on multiple outings. They were first spotted in the morning while heading out to breakfast. Then, later in the night, they held hands while heading home after a dinner date.
The duo was also seen wearing matching face masks earlier in the week!
Jacob and Kaia have known each other for quite a while, and even have a friend a common – Tommy Dorfman, who Jacob was seen hanging out with, via Tommy‘s Instagram!

The Euphoria co-stars were also joined at the party by fellow cast members Maude Apatow and Alexa Demie, who is pictured inside at the Elton John party that night.

A bunch of the stars reunited while attending HBO’s after party following the 2020 Golden Globes on Sunday (January 5) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Sydney Sweeney, Barbie Ferreira, Hunter Schafer, Maude Apatow, Storm Reid, and Nika Williams were all there. Sadly, Zendaya was not.

Alexa Demie and Kristine Froseth are two rising stars in Hollywood and they are being recognized for their talents!
The ladies were chosen as members of the “Hollywood Rising” 2019 class and they were honored at the Elle x Ferragamo Hollywood Rising Party on Friday (October 11) at Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.
In the Heights actor Anthony Ramos was also chosen and his photos are featured in the gallery. Members of the cast of The Politician rounded out the class.
Alexa was supported at the event by Euphoria co-star Maude Apatow while Kristine was joined by Looking for Alaska co-stars Charlie Plummer, Denny Love, and Landry Bender.

It was just announced that Maude had joined Ryan Murphy‘s upcoming Netflix series, Hollywood, alongside Jim Parsons, Dylan McDermott, Samara Weaving, Joe Mantello, and Laura Harrier.
She’s set to play Henrietta in the series, which is “a love letter to the Golden Age of Tinseltown.”
