Skai Jackson is making her return to the screen!

The 18-year-old actress has joined the cast of the upcoming Hulu and American High teen comedy Sex Appeal.

Here’s a synopsis: Avery Hansen-White doesn’t do things she isn’t excellent at. So when her long-distance boyfriend hints at wanting to take their relationship to the next level at the upcoming STEM conference (“nerd prom”), she sets out to master her sexuality. In this hilarious teen comedy, Avery begins to study the mechanics of love and realizes that relationships require less science and more heart.

Also joining previously announced stars Jake Short and Mika Abdalla are Paris Jackson, Fortune Feimster, Margaret Cho and Rebecca Henderson. Filming is currently underway in Syracuse, NY.

If you didn’t know, American High is a production company that specializes in teen comedies. Past films include Big Time Adolescence, Banana Split, The Ultimate Playist of Noise and more.

Though Skai has been doing voice work, she hasn’t really been on camera since leaving Bunk’d in 2018, aside from her stint on Dancing With The Stars last fall.

Rebecca Henderson is also set to star in this upcoming new Freeform comedy!

Freeform’s newest pilot Last Summer has found it’s cast!

The upcoming series is an unconventional thriller that takes place over three summers—‘93, ‘94, ‘95—in a small Texas town when a beautiful popular teen, Kate, is abducted and, seemingly unrelated, a girl, Jeanette, goes from being a sweet, awkward outlier to the most popular girl in town and, by ’95, the most despised person in America.

Each episode will be told from the POV of one of the two main girls (Jeanette and Kate), which will have the viewers loyalties constantly shifting as more information is revealed.

Harley Quinn Smith has joined the show as Mallory, a quirky outsider who feels left behind when Jeannette becomes the popular girl. Her anger masks her genuine hurt by her once best friend.

Froy Gutierrez will also join the cast, playing Jamie, the kind of guy everyone loves. He starts as Jeannette’s secret crush, who ends up as her boyfriend the following year.

Chiara Aurelia, who has had roles in Pretty Little Liars and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn will take on the lead role of Jeannette, a sweet high schooler who has a zest for
life, but an almost obsessive need to be loved.

Rounding out the cast are Blake Lee, Mika Abdalla, Allius Barnes, Nathaniel Ashton, Michael Landes, and Brooklyn Sudano.

Jordyn Jones stuns in a chic gray dress while arriving at the Midnight Sun premiere held at Arclight Cinemas on Thursday night (March 15) in Hollywood.

The 18-year-old Overnights actress was joined by Landry Bender, Brec Bassinger, Jade Pettyjohn, and Project Mc2 stars Mika Abdalla and Ysa Penarejo.

Other stars who came out to the premiere include Meg Donnelly, Nia Sioux, Bryce Xavier, Emmy Buckner and fiance Max Chucker, Aubrey K. Miller, Sofia Wylie, Nikki Hahn and former Bunk’D stars Kevin Quinn, and Nina Lu.

FYI: Sofia wore an Alcoolique ensemble with Stuart Weitzman heels. Landry wore Club Monaco.

Marsai Martin shows off her award during the non-televised dinner for the 2018 NAACP Image Awards over the weekend in Pasadena, Calif.

The black-ish star was up for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy, and beat out Uzo Aduba, Tichina Arnold, Leslie Jones and Yvonne Orji for the honor.

“I had no idea I was gonna win this award. This one was a complete surprise and I was so discombobulated that I forgot to thank my blackish family,” Marsai wrote on Instagram after the event.

She added a thanks to the organization, who nominated her in that category despite her age: “Thank you for recognizing our show and for ‘seeing’ me…even though I’m a kid, you recognize me as an artist, an actress and that means everything. Thank you.”

Marsai was also nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Youth, but that honor went to Stranger Things‘ Caleb McLaughlin.

Free Rein‘s Jaylen Barron and Project Mc2 stars Mika Abdalla, Genneya Walton, Ysa Penarejo, and Victoria Vida were also at the event.

The three actresses joined Google Software Engineer Kim Swennen and Rashida Jones in the Q&A panel about STEAM projects and subjects.

Guests at the event were also treated to a screening of the first episode of the new season of the Netflix show, as well as the opportunity to try out some of the new S.T.E.A.M. toys.

In Project Mc² season 6, the NOV8 team is on a mission to catch who is trying to harm the hero of Maywood Glen, Bobby Stone. Meanwhile, Ember is determined to encourage the town to recycle and Bryden is famous now that her science show is broadcast on Stone TV.

But her newfound popularity may endanger her longtime friendship with Camryn. This season NOV8 will encounter new adversaries and missions, but with ingenuity, instincts and teamwork they’ll save the day.

Project Mc² season 6 is airing on Netflix now.

The girls joined Jennie Garth at the big celebration, which not only kicked off season 5, but also celebrated the Project Mc2 product line, that includes the Project MC2 Perfume Maker, the Project MC2 Experiment Dolls, the Project Mc2 Pixel Purse, and more!

Genneya, Belle, Victoria, Ysa and Mika, along with their guests munched on taco stations, mini turkey burger sliders, crab cake bites and fresh mozzarella and tomato kabobs with specialty ‘Mock’tails while dancing with the cast on the dance floor.

Guests also left the party with goodie bags filled with Project Mc2 experiment dolls and products from the Project MC2 product line.

Victoria, Belle and Genneya are also pictured on Hallmark’s Home & Family program the day before.

Project Mc² will premiere on Netflix NEXT Saturday, September 15th!

• 5. I don’t have any siblings. Being an only child has its benefits, but sometimes I wish I had a brother or sister to hang out with.
• 6. I’m graduating high school a year early. It wasn’t easy, but it’s definitely something I’m proud of!
• 7. I’m obsessed with James Bond movies. The first one I ever watched was “Live and Let Die” and I’ve been hooked ever since!
• 8. I still live in the same city I was born in. I’m sure I’ll move to LA in the near future, but Texas will always have a special place in my heart.

• 10. I volunteer at my local cat shelter. Not only does it help fulfill my National Honors Society requirements, but I love working with and helping animals.
