The actors crowd-funded the first movie in order to get it made, and after it was released, it became a huge success, and can even be streamed on Netflix!

Robbie Amell & His Co-Stars Begin Filming Season 2 of 'Upload'!

Robbie Amell has an amazing update for fans of his Prime Video series Upload!

The 32-year-old actor, who stars as Nathan Brown, shared on Instagram that filming on the second season has begun.

“Upload Season 2. Day 1,” he captioned a photo with his co-stars.

Also back for season two are Andy Allo as Nora, Allegra Edwards as Ingrid, Kevin Bigley as Luke, Zainab Johnson as Aleesha and Owen Daniels as AI Guy.

“YOU ASKED FOR IT!!! Upload Season 2. Day 1,” Zainab captioned the pic on her account.

“Day One of Week One of Episode One of Season 2! @uploadonprime,” Allegra added on hers.

Upload premiered during the pandemic in May 2020 and was such a big hit that it was renewed for season two a week later.

The series follows a young app developer, Nathan Brown, who winds up in the hospital following a self-driving car accident, needing to quickly decide his fate. After a rushed deliberation with his shallow girlfriend Ingrid, he chooses to be uploaded to her family’s luxurious virtual afterlife, the Horizen company’s “Lakeview.”

Once uploaded in Lakeview, Nathan meets his customer service “Angel” Nora Anthony, who at first is his charismatic concierge and guide, but quickly becomes his friend and confidante, helping him navigate this new digital extension of life.

All ten episodes of Upload‘s first season are available to stream on Prime Video. Can’t wait for season two!

Robbie Amell has another movie in the works, and this one he’s especially excited for!

The 32-year-old Upload actor is set to star in the official Resident Evil franchise origin film, THR reports.

Joining Robbie in the new movie based off of the popular video games include Kaya Scodelario, Avan Jogia, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hopper and Neal McDonough.

According to THR, “the new project reboots the franchise by going to the place that first unleashed a zombie apocalypse, thanks to a bioweapon virus developed by a corporation.”

“The story is set on in a fateful night in Raccoon City in 1998; the fictional Midwestern town is known in Evil lore as the center of a virus outbreak that destroys it and forever changes the country.”

“I grew up playing the Resident Evil games. This is a dream come true for me. Can’t wait to get to work!” Robbie wrote with the news on Instagram.

The 32-year-old The Babysitter: Killer Queen actor will be starring in and producing Float.

The film is an adaptation of the Wattpad story by Kate Merchant.

“Really excited to bring Kate’s charming story to life. @wattpad let’s get to work,” Robbie shared on Instagram.

Here’s a synopsis: After her parents’ messy divorce, Waverly finds herself yanked from her comfortable life in Alaska to spend the summer in her aunt’s sunny beach town. If this paradigm shift wasn’t jarring enough, Waverly quickly begins to clash with one of her new neighbors and the polar opposite of everything she represents: an arrogant, jaded, beach bum named Blake.

Try as she might to avoid him, however, she finds fitting in with her new beachside community just as difficult thanks to the teeny-tiny, embarrassing secret that she can’t swim. That is until her new nemesis, who happens to be the town lifeguard, offers to teach her.
