Olivia Rodrigo is taking over the Saturday Night Live stage!

On Saturday (May 15), the 18-year-old High School Musical: The Musical: The Series actress and singer made her debut on the sketch comedy series.

For her first performance, Olivia sang her hit song “Driver’s License.”

Later in the show, Olivia gave her first live performance of her new single “Good 4 U.”

Both songs will be featured on Olivia‘s debut album Sour, which she will be releasing on Friday, May 21.

In a new interview, Olivia shared the meaning behind the title of her album.

Olivia Rodrigo is heading to Saturday Night Live!!

It was just announced that the 18-year-old singer and actress will make her debut as the musical guest on the show this month.

“SNL😭😭😭😭,” Olivia captioned the announcement on Instagram.

Nick Jonas took on hosting duties for the first time on Saturday Night Live this weekend!

The 28-year-old not only hosted, but he also served as the musical guest, performing two new songs from his upcoming album, Spaceman.

Nick‘s first sketch saw him as a fitness instructor, he also played Prince Charming in a Cinderella sketch, went on a post-pandemic date, and got interviewed on The Dionne Warwick Talk Show.

The singer and actor was also a part of a couple of pre-recorded sketches, “Murder Show” and “Bachelor Party.”

In “Murder Show,” Nick left his girlfriend at home in the apartment and it turned into a musical number about what women do to unwind – watching murder shows on Netflix. He also joined in to add that he likes watching cult shows.

In “Bachelor Party,” Nick served as the best man for his friend and hosted a bachelor party, where he hired a couple of dancers, but the guys just sang a song about their boners.

Earlier in the week, Nick also appeared in a skit as Toby, the new gardener. Watch below!

Nick Jonas is taking over Saturday Night Live!

The 28-year-old singer hit the SNL stage as the host and musical guest on Saturday (February 27) live from New York City.

As the musical guest, Nick debuted not one, but TWO new songs!

First up, Nick performed “Spaceman,” which he released a few days earlier.

For his second performance, Nick sang “This Is Heaven” – the second new track on his upcoming third solo album.

If you missed it, Nick announced he will be releasing his next album, titled Spaceman, on March 12.

During his SNL monologue, Nick was asked by a very special guest about the future of the Jonas Brothers.

Kevin Jonas made an appearance during his brother Nick‘s monologue on Saturday Night Live on Saturday night (February 27)!

The eldest Jonas Brother was in the audience for his brother’s hosting debut, and was sure to ask the important questions.

During his opening monologue, Nick mentioned that Kevin was in the audience and Kevin said how excited he was to be there to show his support.

He also asked if their band was still together, with all of Nick‘s new solo stuff going on lately.

“I’m honestly so excited to be here and support you,” Kevin started. “And also, I got to ask: Are we good? Because I see you’re doing a lot of solo stuff. Are we still a band?”

“Of course,” Nick replied as Kevin said, “Are you sure? Because I just bought a house.”

Nick reassured Kevin by responding, “Kevin, the band is still together. I promise.”

Nick also paid tribute to Broadway, New York City and everyone affected during the pandemic. Watch right here!

The 28-year-old singer has been rocking some cool outfits while in New York City, including the purple one he wore while heading to work on Thursday morning (February 25).

Nick wore a white sweater the night before while heading back to his hotel after prepping for his big night.

A funny new promo video for Nick‘s Saturday Night Live gig was just released. For those that don’t know, he is going to be both the host and musical guest this weekend.

In the promo, Nick is joined by SNL cast members Ego Nwodim and Bowen Yang, who jokingly say they thought they were the musical guest and pitch their single “You Idiot.” Watch the video below!
