'Raven's Home' Cast Get Glammed Up For Daytime Emmy Awards 2021

Raven Symone hits the red carpet for the 2021 Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony for Children’s and Animation held at Associated Television Int’l Studios on Saturday (July 17) in Burbank, Calif.

The Raven’s Home star was joined by her young co-stars Issac Ryan Brown, Navia Robinson and Sky Katz, as well as her wife Miranda Pearman-Maday.

Also in attendance were Sydney To The Max‘s Christian J Simon and Pete the Cat voice star Juliet Donenfeld.

Raven's Home's Sky Katz Lands Lead In New Netflix Series 'Surviving Summer'

Sky Katz is working on a brand new series!

The 16-year-old Raven’s Home actress will star in Surviving Summer for Netflix, Variety reveals.

Sky plays the title role of Summer, a fierce Brooklyn teen who is sent ‘Down Under’ to live with family friends in a coastal town on the Great Ocean Road.

“Surviving Summer has been a passion project for a long time. Our teen cast are an exciting mix of acting and surfing talent. They have been training hard and will be ably supported by our brilliant crew, fantastic scripts and fingers crossed, great surf,” series co-creator Joanna Werner said in a statement.

Surviving Summer will also star Joao Gabriel Marinho, Kai Lewins, and Savannah La Rain, as well as five-time Queensland junior state surf champion Lilliana Bowrey, who is making her acting debut.

“AHHH THE NEWS IS OUT !! Surviving Summer, coming to Netflix soon :)) I’ll be playing the character Summer, and I couldn’t be more excited. Can’t wait for you guys to see this, you’re gonna love it. ❤️,” Sky shared on Instagram.

Earlier this month, Sky shared some photos and videos with her castmates from surf lessons.

The Kid of the Year special is coming up in just ONE DAY!

The special is hosted by Trevor Noah, with a kid committee helping to choose the TIME magazine’s “Kid of the Year,” and we have an exclusive clip.

In the clip, we see Raven’s Home‘s Sky Katz, All That‘s Chinguun Sergelen and Young Dylan‘s Dylan Gilmer, as well as Little Chef Ivy and TIME for Kids kid reporters Raunak Singh and Tiana Sirmans narrowing down the choices to the top five.

The TIME and TIME for Kids’ first-ever Kid of the Year TV special will introduce the top five Kid of the Year honorees, along with kids performing incredible “acts of awesome.” It will also feature many more celeb appearances by Kristen Bell, Simone Biles, Dixie D’Amelio, Billie Eilish, Rob Gronkowski, Neil Patrick Harris, Chris Hemsworth, Ken Jeong, Angelina Jolie, Chloe Kim, Brie Larson, Zachary Levi, Russell Westbrook, Malala Yousafzai, and more!

The TIME magazine “Kid of the Year” was actually JUST announced this morning – 15-year-old scientist and inventor Gitanjali Rao!!

Disney Channel stars are uniting for a new holiday song, “Put the Happy in the Holidays“!

Zombies 2‘s Meg Donnelly, Chandler Kinney and Trevor Tordjman, Raven’s Home‘s Issac Ryan Brown, Navia Robinson and Sky Katz, and Sydney To The Max‘s Ruth Righi all sing and rap in the fun new music video.

Chelsea and Raven have perfect timing while walking into their apartment in this exclusive clip from an all new Raven’s Home!

The two walk in right as Booker says, “They are fakers and liars,” and Chels immediately thinks he’s talking about them.

In tonight’s new episode, “Baking Bad,” Booker, Nia and Tess discover a baking blogger is passing Nia’s photo off as their own social media avatar while writing mean-spirited reviews.

The kids try to unmask the culprit before Nia’s real-life reputation is jeopardized. Meanwhile, Raven and Chelsea are trying to clear up a mix-up with a client and Levi is busy redefining his middle school image on social media.
