Victoria Justice has released her brand new music video for her latest song “Treat Myself“!
The 27-year-old dropped the visual for her song just a few days after debuting the track, and she opened up about the song and the video in a Twitter Q&A.
“I always saw this video as me being with myself. And I always wanted there to be an underwater element. I loved the idea of not being able to escape the other “me†that represents the more negative thoughts in my head,” she wrote.
“Being vulnerable is always a little scary. But I knew that this was the time to share this message. I felt like it could help people & it felt very true to me. And that’s what music’s about. Being real & honest & hoping that someone connects,” Victoria added about the song.

The 27-year-old actress and singer debuted the new single just a few days after announcing it’s release.
“#TreatMyself is out everywhere!!!! I’m so excited to finally be sharing music again with you, and this is just the beginning. I love you guys â¤ï¸ Enjoy it & treat yourselves with kindness, you deserve it 😘,” she wrote on Friday (December 11).
“I know that this year has been so hard for so many of us. We’ve been forced to spend more alone time than ever with ourselves. Which can on some days be a good thing, and other days not so good,†Victoria said earlier in the week. “That voice in our heads can tear us down, make us doubt ourselves & flat out lie to us. I wanted you guys to know that you’re not alone. I hope you connect with this song in some way and I hope it can also empower you. It comes from the heart and I’m so excited to finally share something with you all!â€

The 27-year-old actress just announced that she’s going to release a brand new song titled “Treat Myself” THIS Friday (December 11).
“I made a promise to you guys and to myself that I was going to release music in 2020. My hope was to complete a full musical project and have an album or EP to release, but of course 2020 has not exactly turned out as many of us planned. And instead of overthinking all of this, I just thought. F#%! it. I’m going to just put it out there,” Victoria wrote on Instagram.
“I’ve written & recorded many songs over the past few years, but this one in particular has a message that I think is more important than ever to share now,” she continued.

“Treat Myself” will be Victoria‘s first original song since 2013, when she released “Shake” and “Gold,” over the summer that year. She also toured with Big Time Rush that summer!
The new movie follows a social butterfly (Justice) who experiences the biggest party foul of all… dying during her birthday week. To her surprise, she’s given a second chance to right her wrongs on Earth by reconnecting with loved ones, and most importantly, prove that she’s worthy enough to get into the big VIP room in the sky.
Spencer will not only co-star, but he’s also going to write original music for the film!

Production on Afterlife of the Party has begun in South Africa. Victoria has shared images on her Instagram story over the last couple of days of her doing hair and makeup tests ahead of filming.

In light of the pandemic, guests were invited to to “Drive-In†for an evening of socially distanced music, celebration, and raising funds and awareness for this life-altering disease.
The event raised over $1.4 Million to benefit the Race to Erase MS and its Center Without Walls program, a collaboration of top MS research centers working together as a team on ground-breaking research with the goal of treating and, ultimately, finding a cure for MS.
The event honored Multiple Sclerosis (MS) advocate and Center Without Walls founder Nancy Davis’s son Jason, who passed away earlier this year, with a very special posthumous “Medal of Hope.â€

The 27-year-old actress shared a few photos on Instagram of a sky banner asking for her hand in marriage.
“So… apparently this has been flying over Santa Monica today! I got an e mail this morning saying TMZ was ready to break a story about me getting engaged, which is news to me??? Lol. In any case, until this secret admirer reveals themself, I guess my answer is… maybe? 😋,” she wrote on Instagram.
“***and if there’s another Victoria Justice out there who just got proposed to, congrats girl! How romantic 🙈🥰 ALSO, is this not a great plot for a Rom-com?!” Victoria added.
According to TMZ, the banner flew over the beaches in Santa Monica, California five times on Friday (July 10).
Victoria Justice carries a bright green sign while out marching with protesters on Wednesday (June 3) in Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old actress was joined by her sister Madison Grace, who carried a bright pink sign.
“Today was beautiful. Huge THANK YOU to all the volunteers who were handing out water and snacks to everyone,” Victoria wrote on Instagram story.
“It’s not enough to just be posting about this, we need to take ACTION. I will be donating today and signing petitions. Let’s continue to educate ourselves and others. And don’t forget to VOTE!!! Let your voice be heard!!!📢 📢📢 Together I believe that we can make a change. Sending love. ðŸ™ðŸ¼ #blacklivesmatter,” Victoria recently posted, with a list of 40 ways you can take action.
On the other side of town, Madison Beer headed to Malibu to join protesters on the side of the road, holding up two signs, one that read, “Black lives, black trans lives, black gay lives, black mental health matters, black voices matter.”
