The upcoming third season will be the last as YouTube moves away from scripted originals.

Liza On Demand was originally renewed for a third run back in January 2020, but was delayed due to the pandemic. The new season will air later this year.

The comedy, also starring Kimiko Glenn and Travis Coles, follows the “chaotic misadventures of Liza (Koshy) and her roommates/best friends, Harlow (Glenn) and Oliver (Coles), as they wade through the highs and lows of their 20s.”

Seasons one and two are currently available to watch for free on Liza‘s YouTube channel!

Liza On Demand is the last scripted YouTube Originals show. Other shows, Cobra Kai, Step Up: High Water and On Becoming A God In Central Florida, have moved to other networks to continue.

YouTube Has Temporarily Demonetized James Charles Amid Predatory Allegations

James Charles is facing more repercussions.

It was just revealed that YouTube has suspended the 21-year-old from their partner program, according to Insider.

The video platform has temporarily demonetized James, citing their Creator Responsibility Policy. The policy states, “If we see that a creator’s on- and/or off-platform behavior harms our users, community, employees or ecosystem, we may take action to protect the community.”

It also says that it “may take action against creators who intend to cause ‘malicious harm to others’ or who cause ‘real world harm’ via abuse or violence, cruelty, or participating in fraudulent or deceptive behavior.”

Late last week, James shared a statement on Twitter, talking about accountability and says that his legal team is taking action against more fake stories that are coming out.

James and Morphe have also mutually “agreed to end our business relationship and wind down sales of the Morphe x James Charles product offering.”

If you missed it, it was also recently announced that James will no longer host the YouTube Originals series Instant Influencer, and the new host and creative direction was just announced!
