Cassie Scerbo Sends Love to Hometown of Parkland, Will Visit Soon
Cassie Scerbo is promising to do her best to help out in any way she can to the victims and their families of the Parkland shooting this week.
The 27-year-old actress graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, the school involved in the horrific tragedy on Wednesday (Febraury 14) in Florida.
“Still at a loss for words.. I’m Shattered, Angry, Heartbroken and still in Shock,” Cassie wrote on Friday night, along with video clips of a message. “As promised, I will do Everything I can for my fellow Parklanders, my fellow Eagles. I will find (at least) 17 ways to uplift you within the next few months. 17 for each fallen Eagle, now Angel. I have two that are in motion right now.. I cannot wait to be home with you all. Hold each other tight and keep those heads held high. #MSDPride #PrayForParkland #RIParadise.”
“My High School, My Backyard, My Home. I don’t know where to begin but I will give you this, I will give my you my PROMISE that I will do everything and anything to offer support to my community and the families of the innocent victims of yesterday’s horrifically surreal event,” she previously wrote on Thursday. “I will do everything in my power to help lift us back up and to be a voice of change. “The eagle is the chief over all the winged creatures. Eagle conveys the powers and messages of the spirit; it is man’s connection to the divine because it flies higher than any other bird.” Keep flying high my fellow eagles, we will get through this together. #proudeagle #msdstrong #prayforparkland link in bio to donate.”
