Evanna Lynch Dishes on 'Crimes of Grindelwald' Movie at Animals Equality Gala 2018
Evanna Lynch steps out in a gorgeous green dress for the 2018 Animal Equality’s Inspiring Global Action Los Angeles Gala held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel over the weekend in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 27-year-old Harry Potter alum was joined by Violett Beane and Daniella Monet at the annual event, which celebrated the organization’s dedication to sustainable, animal-friendly diets.
While on the red carpet, Evanna opened up about the casting of Jude Law as a young Dumbledore, which she called “perfect”.
“He captures the manipulative side of Dumbledore,” she shared. “Dumbledore’s a kind person — he’s nice. He’s not manipulative in an evil way. He wants to get people on his side, fighting for the right thing. You see that in book six, and that’s really shown more, explored more, in this movie. From what I’ve seen, I think he’s perfect.”
Evanna added about the story of the second movie, which she’s seen bits and pieces of: “The second movie goes so much deeper into the world. It really gives much more texture to all the characters that we know and love as the secondary characters — the adults who were running Hogwarts — so I’m so excited. A lot of bombshells are going to be dropped in this movie, which I can’t wait for the rest of the fans to find out.”
FYI: Violett wore a Reformation dress.
