Cameron Boyce's Final Film 'Runt' Will Be Released In North America This Fall

Cameron Boyce‘s final movie Runt is finally getting released!

The late actor stars in the film alongside Nicole Elizabeth Berger, and 1091 Pictures just acquire the North American distribution rights, Deadline reveals.

While no specific date has been announced yet, the movie is set to debut in theaters and on demand this fall. As always, stay tuned to JJJ when more details are revealed.

“This film is very important in the climate we live in today,” Cameron‘s parents, Victor and Libby, shared in a statement. “Cameron was incredibly proud of this film, and we believe his powerful performance will resonate deeply with all his fans throughout the world.”

“We are grateful to be working with 1091 Pictures, which understands the relevance and power of this story,” Runt‘s producers said. “We have also partnered with The Cameron Boyce Foundation and its Wielding Peace initiative to promote peace instead of violence and spread awareness of the consequences of gun violence. We are excited for audiences to see this powerful and thrilling picture.”

Runt follows Cal (Boyce), a teenage boy who, after a troubling incident transpires, proves to be a young man with a take-no-prisoners attitude. It debuted in March 2020 at the Mammoth Film Festival.

Earlier this year, another one of Cameron‘s final projects, the series Paradise City, was released on Prime Video.
