'The Bold Type' Gives a Nod To Melora Hardin's Past TV Work In New Episode
There’s a fun little nod to Melora Hardin‘s TV past on tonight’s all new episode of The Bold Type!
The actress, who stars as Jacqueline Carlyle on the Freeform series, can be seen holding a mug donning the logo for the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.
In case you were unaware, this is a nice touch as Melora was actually on The Office, where she played Jan Levinson, who was the Vice President of Northeast Sales at the paper distribution company Dunder Mifflin at the start of the series!
In a new clip posted on The Bold Type‘s Twitter account, Andrew (Adam Capriolo) is late and sees that Jacqueline (Hardin) is drinking out of an Office mug.
“Jacqueline. Hi. There you are. I’m so sorry I’m late,” he says. “Here, I printed out your reviews ’cause I know you prefer it that way.”
It then shows her holding the mug, and Andrew says, “Oh my god. Are you drinking company coffee out of an Office mug?”
She looks down at the mug and replies, “It’s fine, Andrew.”
There are only a few episodes left of The Bold Type, and we’re finally seeing the return of Adena (Nikohl Boosheri)! Her upcoming appearance was teased in the last episode when Kat calls her for help.
In tonight’s episode, “Rolling Into The Future,” Jane (Katie Stevens) faces unexpected performance reviews that shake her confidence in The Failing Feminist. Sutton’s (Meghann Fahy) attempts to move on from her divorce are thwarted by other’s opinions, and Kat (Aisha Dee) reunites with Adena, who has a secret.
See stills from the episode in the gallery, and tune in TONIGHT (June 9) at 10pm ET/PT on Freeform!
SNEAK PEEK: Andrew's late to work and Jacqueline's drinking out of a The Office mug? What kind of alternate timeline is this?
