David Mazouz, Sterling Beaumon & More Attend 'The Birthday Cake' Premiere

David Mazouz steps out for the LA premiere of his new movie The Birthday Cake at Fine Arts Theatre on Wednesday (June 16) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 20-year-old Gotham actor stars in the movie as Young Gio, the younger version of Shiloh Fernandez‘s character.

Also in attendance was Sterling Beaumon, who showed his support for his friend Siena Oberman, who is a producer on the movie, as well as Twan Kuyper, Sierra Furtado and Sophia Gasca.

Here’s a synopsis: On the 10th anniversary of his father’s mysterious death, Gio (Fernandez) brings a birthday cake prepared by his mother (Lorraine Bracco) to a memorial celebration hosted by his uncle Angelo (Val Kilmer), a Brooklyn mafia boss. Gio’s life begins to change as he pieces together what really happened to his father all those years ago, coming face to face with a kind of violence he has been trying to avoid his whole life.

The movie, also starring Ewan McGregor, Ashley Benson, Penn Badgley, and more, is out in theaters and on demand TOMORROW (June 18th)!
