The 27-year-old mother! actress and the 48-year-old director, who worked on their movie together while dating before breaking up last month, were seen hanging out again, E! News reports.

The two were seen walking into a residence in New York City on Wednesday (December 20), with Jennifer carrying her small dog Pippi. Neither star has offered a comment.

A source tells E!: “They are friends. They are not officially back together but are spending time together again. They never stopped speaking after they broke up. They care about each other. They are just seeing what happens.”
