'Arrow' Star Stephen Amell Is Addressing Reports He Was 'Forcibly Removed' From a Flight

Stephen Amell is speaking out to clear the air after reports came about him.

The 40-year-old actor took to Twitter to directly address the situation where he had to get off of a flight in Texas after getting into an argument on the plane with his wife Cassandra Jean.

TMZ reported that Stephen was forcibly removed from his Delta flight “after allegedly screaming at his wife in front of a plane full of passengers,” and that he “appeared intoxicated.”

He was reportedly told to lower his voice multiple times before he was removed from the flight.

Stephen‘s direct statement on Twitter addressed what happened and the report of him being “forcibly removed.”

“My wife and I got into an argument Monday afternoon on a Delta flight from Austin to LA. I was asked to lower my voice and I did. Approximately 10 minutes later I was asked to leave the flight. And I did so immediately. I was not forcibly removed,” he wrote.

“I rebooked myself on a Southwest flight 2 hours later and traveled home without any further issue. I let my emotions get the better of me, end of story. Must be a slow news cycle,” Stephen added.
