Get To Know 'A Week Away' Star Kat Conner Sterling With 10 Fun Facts!

Kat Conner Sterling is making her feature film debut in the brand new movie musical A Week Away!

The actress plays Presley in the film, which just premiered on Netflix TODAY (March 26).

Kat is no stranger to musicals as she started out doing theater before breaking into film and television in 2019. She has appeared in TV shows The Gifted and 9-1-1.

While she wasn’t able to make it to an in person audition for A Week Away, Kat submitted a self-tape through an open call. Producers and casting directors loved her so much, she booked the role just from her tape and without a callback!

She was on a cruise with her family when she got the call from the producers with the good news.

Maxwell Simkins is starring in the new series The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers!

The young actor plays Nick, the best friend of Brady Noon‘s Evan in the Disney+ sequel series.

Here’s a synopsis: The Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Lauren Graham), set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today. Maxwell is hilarious in the new show, much like he was in the Netflix movie The Sleepover, which released last summer. He’s also previously been in Disney Channel’s live action Kim Possible movie and Bizaardvark. He’ll soon be heard on the upcoming Disney Junior animated series The Chicken Squad!

Sway Bhatia is hitting the ice in the new Disney+ series The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers!

The 13-year-old actress will be starring as Sofi in the upcoming series, which premieres TOMORROW (March 26).

Here’s a synopsis: The Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan Morrow (Brady Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom, Alex (Lauren Graham), set out to build their own team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of youth sports today. Sway will also be seen in the upcoming third season of Succession, where she plays Jeremy Strong‘s daughter Sophie Roy. The series is currently in production.

Iain Tucker is heading to camp in the upcoming Netflix movie A Week Away!

The actor and singer will be portraying Sean, a fellow camper at Camp Aweegaway. He is a leader of one of the camp’s three teams and competes with Will (Kevin Quinn) for Avery’s (Bailee Madison) attention.

Taegen started off her career as a model and in commercials before getting into acting. She has since played a young Paris Jackson in the Lifetime movie Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland, as well as playing a young Shannon in the film I Can Only Imagine.

She has also had a recurring role on another Disney+ series, The Right Stuff, where she plays Laura Shepard.

The young actor stars as Brody in the new series Country Comfort, which just premiered on Netflix on Friday (March 19).

Here’s a synopsis: When her career and personal life get derailed, an aspiring young country singer named Bailey (Katharine McPhee) takes a job as a nanny for a rugged cowboy named Beau (Eddie Cibrian) and his five children.

With a never-give up attitude and loads of Southern charm, this newbie-nanny is able to navigate the family dynamics and be the mother figure they’ve been missing.
