Katherine Langford is opening up about moving on from 13 Reasons Why.
The 24-year-old Cursed actress recently shared that she is grateful for her time on the hit series.
“13 Reasons Why was my first role and something that I’m so grateful for,†she told RadioTimes. “And obviously to have that great relationship with Netflix is such a happy coincidence, as they’re the ones who are also responsible for this story as well.â€
“I think it also feels nice to have had that breathing room, of closing that chapter two or three years ago, and having the space to do a couple of other roles before stepping into another huge commitment like this series,†Katherine continued.
“I feel like I’ve grown a lot more as a person, and hopefully more as an actor, and that’s something that I hope I can continue to do,†she said.
In case you missed it, see what Katherine said about why she couldn’t be there for the 13 Reasons Why finale.
Dylan Minnette is dishing on the possibility of a fifth season of 13 Reasons Why!
While season four was the finale of the series, the 23-year-old actor shared an idea he has with Variety if a season five were to happen.
Dylan‘s idea involves “Clay quarantining in Evergreen County with his parents — and ghost versions of deceased characters Justin, Bryce, Montgomery and Hannah.”
“It’s all set in one room,†he joked. “Damn, actually we should have done this.â€
He also recalled telling showrunner Brian Yorkey about what he wanted for Clay in season four.
“I remember speaking to Brian Yorkey, the showrunner, over the course of the first few seasons, saying that I really want Clay to be in therapy in Season 4 because I want to take a deep dive into what’s actually going on in Clay’s mind,†Dylan said. “We’ve seen him have these struggles since the beginning of the show, and I wanted to face that headfirst.â€

Katherine Langford is opening up about the final season of 13 Reasons Why.
The 24-year-old actress revealed why she couldn’t film the series finale with the rest of the cast, even though she appeared in the episode.
“I think I was still filming Cursed, so I wasn’t able to go in and shoot anything,” Katherine said, via Digital Spy. “It’s funny because I haven’t fully seen season three or four – but I’m making my way through season three and watching season four now that that chapter’s closed.”
“I’m really proud of everyone in the cast, and we’re still really tight. In many ways, I already know what happens and I’m just so proud for them. Closing that chapter was such a special part instilled in all of our lives,” she added.

The cute couple were sure to mask up after their outing at celeb hotspot Catch LA.
Dylan recently opened up about which scene from the final season of 13 Reasons Why gets to him the most when he watches it.
“The college essay scene gets me the most when I watch it, without fail, and I think the reason is because all Clay ever wanted to be, throughout the entire course of the series, was somebody’s positive influence, in particularly Hannah’s,” Dylan told EW. “He’s had to deal with the guilt and grief of never being able to be that for her, and it’s all he ever wanted. He always has wanted to be a hero and always wanted to save someone and to be the positive influence in their life, and he has failed spectacularly many times.”
“He’s also succeeded sometimes, but never in the way he wants, and it’s sort of been the downfall of him. But in the end, hearing from Justin, the person he loves most, that he was his brother and his positive influence, I think that’s why watching it I’m so happy with the decision and it gets me every time. I’m really proud of the ending for that reason because I feel like there’s a lot of perfect full-circle moments,” he added.
The 13 Reasons Why final season is out now!
Series star Dylan Minnette recently opened up about the possibility of a spinoff of the hit Netflix show.
“Oh man! I wouldn’t even begin to imagine what it would be, but I have no idea,†he told ET. “Would Clay Jensen be around? Who knows. I don’t know.â€
Dylan adds that he hopes the ending of the show is satisfactory to fans.
“I hope that everyone feels rewarded enough in the end and feels like they got the closure they needed with these characters ’cause that’s what this season is… it’s just to finish a story that we started,” he said. “There’s a real positive message in the end of this season and I hope that it resonates with people and that everyone feels fulfilled and uplifted.â€
