Yes, KJ Apa really did take the stage at Coachella last night!
The Riverdale star performed with Kygo at the Empire Polo Field on Friday (April 20) in Indio, Calif.
Fans had been speculating ever since KJ posted the Instagram photo below the day before, captioning it, “See ya on stage with @kygomusic #Coachella.”
“Oh my god @kj_apa just slayed it,” one fan commented on Twitter. “His solo was so incredible and wow wow wow I’m so proud of him. That guitar solo was everything #Coachella #COACHELLASXM.” Another added, “I’m sooooo proud of u @kj_apa !! #Coachella.”
The festival won’t be streaming live this weekend, but you can watch a clip of KJ playing during Kygo‘s “It Ain’t Me” here.

The 24-year-old singer made a surprise appearance at the 2018 Coachella Music Festival for a performance during Kygo‘s weekend two set on Friday night (April 20) in Indio, Calif.
Ari also joined the DJ on the song “Sexual Healing.”
Ariana shared a clip of her performing, filmed by her videographer friend Alfredo Flores, on Instagram.

That performance coincides with the release of Ariana‘s new single “No Tears Left to Cry.”
Although it’s not clear if Ariana will be getting a solo set or making a guest appearance with another artist, fans are speculating she will perform with headliner The Weeknd.
