Aja Naomi King takes a break from learning How To Get Away with Murder for the 2015 Annual Essence Black Women In Hollywood Luncheon held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel on Thursday afternoon (February 19) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 30-year-old actress joined model and Dope actress Chanel Iman, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Raven Goodwin for the annual event.

The actors were joined at the event by their How to Get Away With Murder co-stars Karla Souza, Matt McGorry, Jack Falahee, Liza Weil, Charlie Weber, Katie Findlay, and Billy Brown.
The show picked up the award for Outstanding Drama Series and the star Viola Davis, who was absent from the awards ceremony, won Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series.

Alfie Enoch and Katie Findlay pair up on the red carpet while attending Entertainment Weekly’s 2015 SAG Nominees Celebration held at the Chateau Marmont on Saturday evening (January 24) in West Hollywood, Calif.
The two stars were joined at the event by their How to Get Away with Murder co-stars Aja Naomi King, Karla Souza, and Matt McGorry.
Earlier in the day, Matt stepped out to assist in rolling out the SAG Awards red carpet at the Shrine Auditorium.
Matt, who is a SAG nominee for his work on Orange Is the New Black, is the social media ambassador at the awards show.

“She seemed so fun, and it looked like there was so much potential there. And knowing who was creating these characters, you just immediately know that there are going to be layers of depth to each one,” Aja recently shared about her role as Michaela Pratt on the ABC show.
She continued, “She has a way of acting really full of herself when in reality she’s just trying to prove herself and is always looking for that recognition – really needing someone to see her, see how hard she works, because she wants this so badly. And I feel that she has the most human reactions to the things that happen in this show that I cannot yet tell you about.”
