Alex and Alan Stokes are facing serious charges after being arrested.

The 23-year-old YouTubers uploaded a prank video where they pretended to be bank robbers.

The twins were “dressed all in black, wearing ski masks, and carrying duffle bags full of cash as they pretended they had just robbed a bank while their videographer filmed this,” according to an Orange County Office of the District Attorney press release.

“They ordered an Uber and when they got in the vehicle the Uber driver, who was unaware of the prank, refused to drive them. A bystander witnessed this, believing the two men had just robbed a bank and were attempting to carjack the Uber driver.”

“These were not pranks,” Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer said. “These are crimes that could have resulted in someone getting seriously injured or even killed. Law enforcement officers are sworn to protect the public and when someone calls 911 to report an active bank robbery they are going to respond to protect lives. Instead, what they found was some kind of twisted attempt to gain more popularity on the internet by unnecessarily putting members of the public and police officers in danger.”

Now, both Alan and Alex were both arrested and each charged with “one felony count of false imprisonment effected by violence, menace, fraud, or deceit and one misdemeanor count of falsely reporting an emergency in connection with the October 15, 2019 pranks.”

They could face up to a maximum of four years in prison if convicted.

The Dolan Twins scoured the internet for others sets of twins to have one big twin party.

Other twins featured in the video were Niki & Gabi, Brooklyn & Bailey, Chase and Alan Stokes, Lisa and Lena, Vanessa and Veronica Merrell, Lucas and Marcus Dobre, and Nick and Adam Buongiovanni, as well as Charli and Dixie D’Amelio, because they look alike close enough to be mistaken as twins.

Gabi even said to the D’Amelio sisters, “Honestly, you guys look way more alike than Niki and I ever looked alike.” HA!

All of the siblings are quarantining with their twins, except for Niki & Gabi because Gabi was at Walt Disney World when the pandemic started to really affect the US, so she has been self quarantined.

Kenzie Ziegler just released a brand new video to celebrate the upcoming release of Zombies 2!

The 15-year-old entertainer teamed up with a ton of your favorite internet stars to recreate one of the first teasers for the new sequel.

Kenzie stars in the video as Addison, while Brent Rivera stars as Zed.

Kendall Vertes, Ava Michelle, Asia Monet Ray, and Mads Lewis all play zombies, while Piper Rockelle, Hayden Summerall, Tati McQuay, and Alan Stokes take on the cheerleaders. Starring as the new werewolves include Nia Sioux, Chloe Lukasiak, Carson Leuders, Ben Azelart, and Sofie Dossi.

Many of the stars teased the upcoming collab when they filmed the video back in January.

Tana Mongeau made a statement on the carpet at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards!

The 20-year-old YouTuber hit the red carpet on Saturday afternoon (June 15) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

“wearing my net worth,” Tana joked about her dress on her Instagram.

She was also joined at the event by her Escape the Night co-star Alex Wassabi as well as social stars Alan and Alex Stokes and Rickey Thompson.

The 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards with host Zachary Levi will air on Monday, June 17 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on MTV. Make sure to tune in!

Musical duo Max & Harvey, actress and singer Jordyn Jones, and former Big Time Rush member Kendall Schmidt had fun at the 2019 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards pre-party held at a private house on Friday (March 22) in Venice, Calif.

They were joined by Knight Squad‘s Daniella Perkins, Owen Joyner, and Lexi DiBenedetto, Cousins for Life‘s Scarlet Spencer and Micah Abbey, A Family for the Holidays‘ Brooke Butler, Last Man Standing‘s Jet Jurgensmeyer, actress Jayden Bartels, dancer Nia Sioux, and YouTuber Brent Rivera.

Also in attendance were singers Sofia Reyes, Baby Ariel, and Annie LeBlanc, musical artists AJ Mitchell, Indiana Massara, Bianca and Chiara D’Ambrosio, and Jenna Raine, as well as Alex and Alan Stokes, Ben Azelart, Bryce Xavier, Charles Gitnick, and Matt Smith.

Twins Alex and Alan Stokes and Ben Azelart go without shirts under their jackets while arriving at the 2018 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday (March 24) at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

The three social stars are part of the KCA prankstars and were voted by fans to get slimed — it’s a good thing they didn’t’ wear shirts!

“WE JUST GOT SLIMED!” Ben shared on Twitter. “Thank you so much to everyone who voted and helped us out!”
