Andrew Garfield Wraps His Arms Around On-Screen Love Alexandra Shipp While Filming ‘tick, tick…BOOM!’

Andrew Garfield and Alexandra Shipp are looking so in love!

The 37-year-old actor and the 29-year-old actress wrapped their arms around each other while filming tick, tick...BOOM! on Wednesday afternoon (June 16) in New York City.

The co-stars stood in front of a purple mural as they laughed, danced around, and shared a few kisses as they filmed with director Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Just a few days earlier, Netflix released the first teaser trailer for tick, tick…BOOM!, which is being released in the fall.

tick, tick…BOOM! is about a promising young theater composer on the cusp of his 30th birthday as he navigates love, friendship, and the pressures of life as an artist in New York City.

Vanessa Hudgens also stars in the movie.

Alexandra Shipp and Vanessa Hudgens are buddying up on the red carpet!

Alexandra, 29, and Vanessa, 32, posed together on the red carpet at the premiere of their new movie Asking For It held during the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival on Saturday (June 12) in New York City.

Also in attendance included their co-stars Leslie Stratton, Lisa Yaro, and Katerina Baker along with Vanessa's BFF GG Magree.

After the premiere, the ladies headed over to the after party at Nearly Ninth At Arlo Midtown.

Here's what the new movie's about: "After small town waitress Joey (Kiersey Clemons) is sexually assaulted after a date with her old friend Mike (Casey Cott), she befriends mysterious stranger Regina (Shipp). Regina introducers her to The Cherry Bombers, an all femme gang including Beatrice (Hudgens), Lily (Stratton), Sal (Radha Mitchell), Jett (Leyna Bloom), Angie (Yaro), Fala (Casey Camp-Horinek), and Rudy (Gabourey Sidibe). All suffering from past traumas, together they fight a misogynistic society by targeting violent frat boys, a corrupt police force of human traffickers led by Sheriff Morel (David Patrick Kelly), and the dangerous alt-right group MFM (Men’s First Movement) headed by Mark Vanderhill (Ezra Miller). As Joey is drawn further into their chaotic world, Sal’s old flame, Logan County Sheriff Vernon (Luke Hemsworth), investigates MFM, leading to a thrilling showdown," according to the Tribeca website.

Vanessa Hudgens has been teasing it all week and the full video is finally here!

The 32-year-old actress and her friends, Alexandra Shipp, GG Magree and Vince Rossi, all dressed up and did the "Jingle Bell Rock" dance from the movie Mean Girls.

The group enlisted Teen Beach Movie and So You Think You Can Dance's Kent Boyd to help with the choreography.

Elle Fanning and Justice Smith's new Netflix movie All the Bright Places just got a premiere date and key art!

The A Rainy Day in New York actress and the Every Day actor both star in the romantic drama, which will premiere on the streamer on February 28.

Here's the synopsis: "Based on the internationally bestselling novel by Jennifer Niven, All The Bright Places tells the story of Violet Markey (Elle Fanning) and Theodore Finch (Justice Smith), who meet and change each other’s lives forever. As they struggle with the emotional and physical scars of their past, they come together, discovering that even the smallest places and moments can mean something.
