Nick Jonas just gave two amazing performances during the American Idol finale!

The 25-year-old entertainer first took to the stage to perform him new single “Anywhere” alongside Mustard collab.

In addition to the new single, Nick was joined on stage by contestant Jurnee to sing his song “Jealous.”

This isn’t the first time Nick was on Idol this season either! Nick served as a mentor to the contestants earlier in the competition.

The American Idol finale is just a day away, and the contestants are getting ready to perform one last time!

The top three contestants vying for the title of the new American Idol are Maddie Poppe, Caleb Lee Hutchison, and Gabby Barrett.

The finale will span across two nights, Sunday (May 20) and Monday (May 21), and each contestant will perform three songs, including their just released debut singles.

Maddie will perform her new single “Going Going Gone“, her own original song “Don’t Ever Let Your Children Grow Up”, and Fleetwood Mac‘s “Landslide”.

Caleb will perform his new song “Johnny Cash Heart“, “Don’t Close Your Eyes” by Keith Whitley, and “Folsom Prison Blues” by Johnny Cash.

Gabby will perform “Rivers Deep”, her debut single, Miranda Lambert‘s “Little Red Wagon”, and “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Journey.

The American Idol finalists are going on tour this summer, and In Real Life is going along for the ride!

The Boy Band winners – Brady Tutton, Drew Ramos, Chance Perez, Michael Conor, and Sergio Calderon – will be the opening act, Variety reports.

After a two-year break, the American Idol live tour dates will be revealed on the show this Sunday (May 6) as the final seven contestants compete during the Prince-themed night.

According to a source, the venues will be small to medium-sized theaters.

The tour is scheduled to run for at least eight weeks, kicking off on July 1.

American Idol has officially been renewed for another season on ABC!

The rebooted singing competition just got the greenlit for an additional season on the network and will bring back judges Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie and host Ryan Seacrest.

The show’s current season saw its highest viewership since the premiere episode during its first live episode earlier in the week.

“We knew that American Idol on ABC would unleash an opportunity for singers from all walks of life to realize their dreams and that these incredible contestants would have America rooting for their success. I am thrilled that Katy, Luke, Lionel and Ryan will be back to once again embark on this Idol journey with us to discover the next crop of inspiring talent,” said ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey.

This weekend, American Idol will host Disney Night and JJJ is 100% here for it!

The Top 10 contestants – Catie Turner, Dennis Lorenzo, Michael J. Woodard, Jurnee, Gabby Barrett, Ada Vox, Maddie Poppe, Michelle Sussett, Cade Foehner, and Caleb Lee Hutchinson – will be performing songs from your favorite Disney movies, like Sleeping Beauty, Moana, The Jungle Book, The Lion King and Coco.

Idina Menzel, who is the voice of Queen Elsa in Frozen, will be mentoring the Top 10 for the night as well.

American Idol airs Sunday, April 27th @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

Colton Haynes has been watching American Idol and it seems he may have picked a favorite.

The 29-year-old Arrow actor took to Twitter to profess his love for one of the top ten contestants, Catie Turner, and she rightfully freaked out.

“I am clinically obsessed with @hashtagcatie,” he wrote, adding, “You are incredible. Never change. Your individuality is so inspiring…do you.”

After seeing his tweets, Catie responded with a “HUH” and then, “COLTON HAYNES AS IN COLTON HAYNES WHO IS COLTON HAYNES.”

Colton also said he was obsessed with Ada Vox.

In case you somehow missed the news, Colton will be returning to Arrow for season 7 as a series regular.

The American Idol top ten contestants took a trip to Disneyland for Pixar Fest on Tuesday night (April 24) in Anaheim, Calif.

The singers met with Inside Out‘s Joy and Sadness after a performance in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.

The Top 10 performers will be taking on Disney songs on the show next Sunday (April 29) for Disney night.
