Niall Horan joined his pal Ashe for a performance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Wednesday night (November 11).
The pair performed their duet of her song “Moral of the Story” from the Royal Albert Hall in London.
“So happy I finally got to meet the lovely @ashemusic in person after all these months of chatting over FaceTime. We’re performing Moral Of The Story tonight on @latelateshow so make sure to tune in x,” Niall captioned a photo of them on Instagram.
“well isn’t that the goofiest photo i’ve ever seen of me in my entire life,” Ashe commented, adding, “i look like i just met santa”
She uploaded another photo on her own account, captioning it, “the pretty picture** tonight on @latelateshow with @niallhoran @j_corden”
The weekend before, Niall and Ashe put on a live concert at that same venue, and it was live streamed across the world.
The 26-year-old musician is featured on Ashe‘s new tune “Moral of the Story“.
“From the minute Ashe got in touch and I heard this song, I loved it so much,” Niall said of the song. “From the chord choices to the natural storytelling melodies that she possesses, it was a no brainer that I was going to be a part of it. We sat on FaceTime for ages chatting, writing different parts and having a laugh. Ashe is a legendddddd. She’s insanely talented and I’m proud to say she’s now my friend.â€
“Niall’s voice on ‘Moral of the Story’ feels so natural and organic. He’s absurdly talented. It feels like he was in the room the day we wrote it, as if he had been there all along and I just didn’t know it,” Ashe said. “This is the most personal song I’ve ever written/released and I needed to know Niall was going to treat it with the same vulnerability and care. He absolutely exceeded those expectations.â€
