Katherine Langford 'Would Love to' Return To Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Katherine Langford is ready to jump back into the MCU!

If you didn’t know, the 24-year-old actress was set to appear as Tony Stark’s daughter Morgan Stark in Avengers: Endgame, but her role was cut from the theatrical release.

However, Katherine‘s Endgame scene can be viewed as part of the “Extras” for the movie on Disney+!

Now, the actress is opening up about wanting to reprise the role in a future Marvel project, but if she’s already set to do so, she really can’t say anything.

“I feel like if you’re going to be cut from anything, to at least have the experience of being cut from the final Avengers film, it’s not too bad and I think that that experience, just filming was amazing,” Katherine told radio host Smallzy recently. “And I think Disney+ ended up releasing it anyway, but yeah at least I have the experience and honestly, that I think was one of the coolest things that I’ve ever been able to do so I’m just happy to have the memory.”

“The Marvel Universe is very under wraps and I was so scared after doing it because I literally couldn’t say anything,” she added. “So if I did, I don’t know if I would be able to say anything, but I’d love to!”

Katherine Langford's 'Avengers: Endgame' Scene is on Disney+!

Katherine Langford‘s scene was famously cut out of Avengers: Endgame earlier this year.

The 23-year-old actress was cast to play Morgan Stark, the adult daughter of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, in the final movie of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series, however, her scene didn’t make the final film.

Fans were understandably upset, however, there is good news about it – Katherine‘s scene is on Disney+, in the film’s “Extras”.

“This is originally what happened after Tony snapped his fingers,” director Joe Russo says in the deleted scene’s commentary. “We sent him to what we would call ‘The Way Station’ to mirror what happened with Thanos with his daughter in Infinity War.”

Co-director Anthony Russo adds, “The idea is that this moment, that act forces you to confront or reconcile something that is unresolved in yourself and your soul.”

Katherine Langford's 'Avengers: Endgame' Role Revealed!

We finally know who Katherine Langford was supposed to play in Avengers: Endgame!

While her scene was ultimately cut from the three-hour movie, the 23-year-old actress actually filmed scenes as Morgan, Tony Stark’s (Robert Downey, Jr.) daughter.

Speaking with Josh Horowitz on the HappySadConfused podcast, directors Joe and Anthony Russo revealed they shot a sequence in which Tony was jolted to the metaphysical world after he snapped the gauntlet, just like Thanos, where he encountered the teenaged version of his daughter.

“There was an idea that we had that Tony was going to go into the metaphysical way station that Thanos goes in when he snapped his fingers,” Joe shared. “And that there was going to be a future version of his daughter in that way station.”

“The intention was that his future daughter, because these films are dealing with magic, his future daughter forgave him and sort of gave him peace to go. And the idea felt resonant. But it was just too many ideas in an overly complicated movie.”

Anthony explained why the scene was ultimately cut: “What we realized about it was we didn’t feel an emotional association with the adult version of his daughter. So it wasn’t ringing to us and resonating with us on an emotional level.”

Avengers: Endgame is in theaters now.

Katherine Langford Kind Of Responds To Her Secret Role in 'Avengers: Endgame'

If you were like us, you ran to the theaters this weekend to see Avengers: Endgame – just like many, many others did, too.

There were a ton of cameos we spotted in the movie, however, Katherine Langford was not one of them.

Months ago, there were rumors that the 13 Reasons Why actress had a small role in the final Infinity Saga film, however, NO ONE SAW HER! So, was she even in it?

Marvel never confirmed that Katherine was going to be in the film though, or she was, and her scenes were cut? Maybe she’ll show up in Blu-ray extras?

Katherine was asked about where she was in the movie during a recent Q&A, and here’s what she said:

Olivia Holt Reacts to 'Avengers: Endgame': 'It Left Me Completely Speechless'

The Cloak & Dagger actress opened up in a new interview with International Business Times.

“Oh man, it left me completely speechless,” she said. “I think this is by far the best Marvel movie, hands down. A lot of people are just going to be blown away by the storytelling and the action and just the characters all together. I left the theater feeling a million emotions, and I think everyone is going to be feeling the same.”

“I grew up a Marvel fan, so it’s actually kind of crazy and full circle and surreal how I’m now working with the company and being part of the family,” she continued. “But I am. I grew up going to see the movies, and now I’m sort of trying to inch my way into the TV shows. I think what’s really cool about this particular universe is that they all sort of coincide. We’ve mentioned on Cloak & Dagger some of the other characters from the other shows and vice versa. So I love that there’s a way to intertwine all of these characters and their universes together.”

On a possible crossover with Hulu’s Runaways, Olivia added, “Runaways and Cloak & Dagger cross over in the comics, so I feel like it only makes sense for us to do it in the TV realm. But we’ll see. I think it’d be really fun. It also makes sense because we’re all in the same realm of age, and I think it’d be cool to see all the kids together.”

Cloak & Dagger airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. EDT on Freeform.
