Bailee Madison is about sing and dance in front of the camera for the first time!
The 20-year-old actress recently opened up about the “nerve-wracking” experience while filming her upcoming musical A Week Away.
“Anything is nerve-wracking when you want to do the best job that you can do. Obviously I’ve never been in front of the camera dancing or singing before. There were nerves but there was way more excitement because it had been on my bucket list for years, to show this side of me and I was just thrilled and honored,†Bailee told J-14.
She added, “I was like, ‘Alright, let’s give it all. Give it whatever I’ve got and see what happens.’ I was so fulfilled, it was so great.â€
A Week Away centers follows a troubled teenager whose recent run-in with the law puts him at an important crossroads; go to juvenile hall or attend a Christian summer camp. At first a fish-out-of-water, he eventually opens his heart and discovers a love and sense of belonging in the last place he expected to find it.
Bailee Madison and Blake Richardson look so cute at theTommyNow fashion show as part of London Fashion Week on Sunday (February 16) in London, England.
The couple were also joined at the show by their pal Meghan Trainor.
The actress played Maxine Russo – when Jake T. Austin‘s character was transformed into a girl – on the Disney Channel series, which aired for four seasons from 2007-2012.
On whether or not she’s down to do a reboot, Bailee told J-14, “I mean, obviously! I had the time of my life. It was such a fun show. Yeah, obviously, if for some weird reason they wanted me back, I would for sure go.â€
“I was such a small part of a huge phenomenon that I don’t really know why Maxine would come back,†Bailee Madison continued. “But if for some reason Jake didn’t want to come back and he was a girl again I’d obviously be down.â€
“I would like to see where they are now — life now, that would be so fun,†she added.
“I adore all of them,†she said about her former co-stars. “I was just texting with David [Henrie]. I’ve known him since I was so little so we were just texting back and forth. I can’t believe he’s a dad now, it’s wild. We all run in the same scene so we always see each other in passing, which is nice. We all had a chance to grow up with each other.â€
The next day, Bailee shared her love for Meghan Trainor and her new behind-the-scenes video for her “Nice To Meet Ya” music video, where she makes a cameo!
“I love you @meghan_trainor hahaha,” she wrote on her Instagram story, adding, “Like haha so brilliant”
“This is the BTS content I wanna see,” Bailee also added. Check out the video, and see her cameo towards the end.
