Billie Eilish Officially Cancels World Tour, Will Issue Refunds

Billie Eilish has made the difficult decision to cancel her Where Do We Go? Tour.

The 18-year-old announced the news with a note on Twitter on Friday afternoon (December 4).

“i wish that i could have seen you on tour this year. i’ve missed performing for you and being on stage so much i can’t even tell you,” Billie said. “we’ve tried as many different scenarios as possible for the tour but non are possible and, although i know so many of you want to hold onto your tickets and vip passes, the best thing we can do for everyone is to get the money back into your hands as soon as we can.”

“keep an eye on your email for more info from your point of purchase and when we’re ready and it’s safe we’ll let you know when everyone will be able to purchase tickets again for the next tour,” she continued. “i love you so much. stay safe, drink lots of water, wear a mask.”

Billie recently opened up about how they started the tour, but had to stop after three shows due to coronavirus.

“I really wanted to go on that world tour. We started it, got three shows in, cancelled, flew back home,” she said during her Vanity Fair interview.

Billie Eilish Says She's Grateful For Quarantine In 4th 'Vanity Fair' Interview - Watch Now!

Billie Eilish Says She's Grateful For Quarantine In 4th 'Vanity Fair' Interview - Watch Now!

Billie Eilish‘s “Same Interview, The Fourth Year” with Vanity Fair was just released!

In this year’s video, the 18-year-old talked about being more famous, becoming more politically engaged, and what she’s grateful about quarantine.

“This is the most amount of time off that I’ve had in, you know, five years now,” she said. “I think that goes for a lot of people, but that was even true for the first month of quarantine. You know, we had three weeks off and I was like, wow, this is the time off I’ve ever had. I can’t believe it. It’s so great, it’s like a free vacation, and we’ll go right back out on tour in a week. We’ll be fine, and clearly we were all wrong with that, and we look like clowns now.”

“But I will say I have made and created things that I don’t think I ever would have created without this period of time,” Billie continued. “This amount of time and this just life itself. I would like things to be normal though, again, I would like that. But I will say taht I’m grateful for what it’s given me.”

“I really wanted to go on that world tour. We started it, got three shows in, cancelled, flew back home,” she added about what she wishes she could’ve accomplished this year. “I really wanted to get a Lamborghini. It’s not that I couldn’t have, I just, there were so many other things that were so much more important. There’s more people to give that money to. There’s way WAY more, and I cannot stress it enough, way more important things going on than the fu–ing Lamborghini.”

“One thing I have now that I did not have a year ago, is my little pooch puppy, Shark. This is Shark, my son,” she shared, bringing in her pup. “This is Shark! Didn’t have him a year ago because he’s only eight months old.”

Billie Eilish Shares How Quarantine Affected Her Upcoming Album

Billie Eilish Shares How Quarantine Affected Her Upcoming Album

Billie Eilish recently opened up about her next album.

The 18-year-old “Therefore I Am” singer dished on how quarantine impacted her shift in what the album would become.

“That’s what we’ve been talking about for months, about how this year has sucked for a lot of people, and as much as I wished that I had been able to have the year I was planning on having and tour and blah, blah, blah, we would never have made this album” Billie told Apple Music.

“I mean, we would have made something, but it would have been completely different,” she continued. “It’s not like we’re making songs about quarantine, we’re just in a different mindset than we would be otherwise. And that’s just how everything is. It’s the butterfly effect. It’s like if you hadn’t done this three years ago, maybe you wouldn’t be doing this three years later. It’s just the way that it is. At the same time, this is the most time off I’ve ever had in my life, first of all. And especially since this all started like five years ago.”

“So it’s been a blessing, huge blessing and a curse, but I’m really, really happy that we’ve been able to make the things that we’re making. And I can’t wait for you to hear this sh-t. I can’t wait to have the world hear. I’m very excited and hopeful for the future,” Billie added.

I’m just joking and… You know that? Like, stop. What the hell are you talking about? It’s like, come on. It’s so real. I feel like a natural, and don’t take me seriously, you know? I love it.”

She also teased her next album, saying, “I feel good. I’m very, very happy with where I’m at in making music. I love ‘Therefore I Am,’ I love ‘My Future.’ I can’t f-king wait for people to hear this album that we’re working on. It’s like, oh my God.”

Billie Eilish Is Doing 'Vanity Fair' Interview For the 4th Time - Watch the New Teaser!

Yep, Billie Eilish is doing it again!

The 18-year-old “Therefore I Am” singer is answering the same questions with Vanity Fair for the fourth time.

“That’s right, this will never end. I’m doing this sh– ’til I’m 90,” Billie says at the end of the video.

About a month ago, the first teaser was released, where she listened to herself describe herself in 2020.

“Oh gosh, that did not age well. Girl, please…” she said while laughing.

Billie first did the interview in 2017, when she was first starting to become really popular.

“The most important thing right now probably would be maintaining my happiness, which I’ve been experiencing for the first time in many years lately, which is pretty cool,” she said in 2019 about what’s most important to her. “And not that my fans aren’t like… also the other most important thing in the world. And doing shows is most important to me, and doing crazy shows especially, but I want to stay happy. That’s a big goal for me.”

Billie Eilish Picks Up Snacks At an Empty Mall In New 'Therefore I Am' Music Video

Billie Eilish Picks Up Snacks At an Empty Mall In New 'Therefore I Am' Music Video

Billie Eilish just released her new song “Therefore I Am,” along with the music video.

The 18-year-old self-directed the video, which took place at a local empty mall.

“The video is just the way that the song feels to me of just kind of like careless and not really trying. I don’t know,” Billie told Zane Lowe on Apple Music. “The video, we, number one, shot on an iPhone, which we didn’t even mean to do. It’s basically me running through the empty Glendale Galleria eating a donut and a pretzel. That’s literally it. But like random, chaotic, don’t care sh-t. And it was so fun. We shot it overnight, shot it on an iPhone. We had barely any crew. It was crazy. It was so crazy.”

“It was very fun to complete. It was fun to record, especially because it’s like … I feel like you can hear it. I feel that I sound very much like … I’m just f-king around. I’m just joking,” she added about the track. “You know that? Like, stop. What the hell are you talking about? It’s like, come on. It’s so real. I feel like a natural, and don’t take me seriously, you know? I love it.”

“It feels like me. I feel like the rest of them also feel like me, but I think this one is more like,” Billie continued. “If I think about it from an outside perspective, this one I’d be satisfied if I was a fan.”
