BTS' 'Dynamite' Debuts at No 1 On Billboard Chart, Joining Jonas Brothers In This Feat

BTS‘ latest smash single is continuing to dominate the charts!

The K-pop group’s all-English song “Dynamite” has debuted at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart.

This is BTS‘ first song to debut at number one of the chart, having previously debuted at number four with “On.”

The new chart position was revealed just one day after their explosive performance of the track at the 2020 MTV VMAs!

“Dynamite” has previously taken up the top four spots on the iTunes singles chart, and along with it’s remixes, currently take up four of the top 10 spots, including number one.

With BTS debuting on the Hot 100 chart in the top spot, it marks the third time in history a group has debuted at number one. They join the Jonas Brothers and Aerosmith in making this achievement.

The guys of BTS wore suits for their 2020 MTV Video Music Awards performance on Sunday night (August 30)!

The K-Pop group performed their new all-English single “Dynamite” on TV for the first time.

It also marked BTS‘ first time performing at the VMAs!

BTS were also nominated for multiple awards at the show, picking up a few moon persons.

The guys won Best Pop and Best K-Pop for “On” and Best Group, giving them five total wins between this year and last year.

BTS‘ latest hit single has been dominating iTunes charts and breaking records. Earlier this month, they had the top four spots on the iTunes Singles chart in the US.

BTS Dominates iTunes Singles Chart in The US With 'Dynamite' Remixes!

BTS are taking over the iTunes charts with their new single “Dynamite“!

The K-pop group dropped their brand new, all-English tune last Friday (August 21) and now have four different versions of the song.

You can now get the original version of “Dynamite,” as well as instrumental, acoustic and EDM versions. At the time of this post, all four versions are currently the top four songs on the iTunes single chart in the United States.

“While the minimal acoustic track puts at the very forefront the members’ vocals, the EDM is a rearrangement of the original song that maximizes the upbeat and fun vibes,” Big Hit Entertainment said in a statement about the remixes..

BTS is also taking a fifth spot in the top 10 with their song “ON” from Map of the Soul: 7!

In addition, “Dynamite” is also the number one music video in the US. The music video even set a huge record on YouTube.

The day has finally come!!

BTS‘ brand new song “Dynamite,” along with the groovy music video, is out now.

The K-pop group’s new track is the guys’ first song in all English.

“This is ‘Dynamite’ — made of positive vibes, energy, hope, love, the purity, everything,” BTS told Apple Music. “Recording this song was really fun, and like Jin said, we’re going through difficult times so we tried to have more fun working on this song. We made this song in hopes of giving energy to the listeners. We’re glad this song turned out great and hope a lot of our fans can listen to it to receive the positive energy we tried to incorporate in the song.”

As for the music video, they said, “So of course this concept itself gives off a 70-80s vibe, and it’s very fun for people to watch.”

According to Forbes, the video for the song also broke a YouTube record, reaching 3 million concurrent views right after premiering. Another outlet reports the video hit 10 million views in just the first 21 minutes of it being live!

BTS Release First Trailer For 'Break The Silence: The Movie' - Watch Now!

BTS is getting ready to premiere their next film!

The mega-hit K-pop group – RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook – debuted the first trailer for the new concert feature Break The Silence: The Movie.

The new movie follows BTS on their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself World Tour, exploring each band member behind the curtain. Off stage, we see another side of BTS. The seven members begin to candidly tell personal stories they have never voiced before.

“The worldwide stadium tour topped the Billboard Boxscore, and marked BTS as the first Korean group to perform at Wembley Stadium. The tour took place across Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, São Paulo, London, Paris, Osaka, Shizuoka, Riyadh, and Seoul,” says the movie’s website.

BTS To Perform 'Dynamite' On TV For First Time at MTV VMAs 2020

BTS is making their MTV VMAs debut!

The K-pop group will hit the stage at the 2020 MTV VMAs for the first time, and to make it even more memorable, they’ll be performing their new English-only song “Dynaminte” on TV, also for the first time.

The VMAs will take place live on Sunday, August 30, at 8pm ET/PT, and “Dynamite” will be released on August 21st.

Also announced as performers at this year’s ceremony are Doja Cat and J Balvin, with more to be announced later.

BTS are nominated for three awards at the MTV VMAs this year, including Best Pop, Best K-Pop, Best Choreography. Check out the full list of nominations right here!

In case you missed the news, BTS will also be performing at the first ever virtual iHeartRadio Music Festival.

BTS, Miley Cyrus & More To Perform For Virtual iHeartRadio Music Festival 2020

BTS will be one of the main headliners at this year’s 2020 iHeartRadio Music Festival!

It was just announced that the K-pop group will perform virtually for this year’s event, which will take place on September 18th and 19th.

Joining BTS as headliners include Kane Brown and Coldplay, along with special guests Miley Cyrus, Khalid, Keith Urban, Usher, Thomas Rhett and Migos. More performers will be announced at a later date.

Live performances will stream on The CW App and CWTV.com and air on iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide, and will air on The CW on September 27th and 28th.

Artists will also talk to radio host Elvis Duran during the event about how the pandemic has affected their lives, with tours being canceled til at least next year.
