The most touching moment of the night at the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards was given to us by Yara Shahidi.
The 21-year-old Grown-ish actress was at the show to honor the late Chadwick Boseman on Sunday night (May 16) at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
Yara presented the award for Best Performance in a Movie, which went to Chadwick for his work in the Netflix film Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. She accepted on his behalf.
“I’m so honored to accept this award on behalf of Chadwick Boseman. I know I speak for myself, his legions of fans, and the communities he so beautifully represented when I say we are honored to celebrate his art today and every day. His impact is everlasting and we are eternally grateful for the ways his presence and his art have changed the world. We love you and we miss you,” she said.

Chadwick Boseman has sadly passed away.
The Black Panther actor died after a long battle with colon cancer at the age of 42, his family confirms.
“It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman.⣠Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV,” they wrote on his social media.

“A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.”â£

“It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther. â£He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side. â£The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.”
Many celebs and people all over the world are mourning the loss of the late actor.

Zendaya shows off her second hot outfit at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards!
The Spider-Man: Homecoming star presented Black Panther‘s Chadwick Boseman with Best Performance in a Movie at the event, which was taped on Saturday (June 16) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
Zendaya turned heads in a multi-tier, off-the-shoulder red tulle gown with gold heels and matching circular earrings.
Chadwick also won the award for Best Hero, which he chose to give to real-life hero James Shaw Jr.

Normani and Justine Sky dress up for the 2018 GQ All Star Party held at Nomad Los Angeles on Saturday night (February 17) in Los Angeles.
The two singers were joined at the party by AnnaLynne McCord, Chadwick Boseman, Cardi B, Common, Dascha Polanco, Quincy Brown, Christian Combs, James Harden, and Kate Bock with boyfriend Kevin Love.
During the event, Cardi B took over the mic to perform for the crowd.

Ellar Coltrane and Logan Lerman look dapper in their suits while attending an event at the 2015 Santa Barbara Film Festival on Sunday (February 1) in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Ellar recently chatted with The Big Issue about the possibilities of a sequel for his movie Boyhood.
“I think we’re all regretting that we stopped. We all love working together so I can say with some confidence most of the people involved would like to keep going. Though a sequel probably won’t come terribly soon,” Ellar said.
