Broadway actor Jordan Donica is joining the cast in a series regular role for the upcoming second season, Deadline reports.
The actor will play Jordan, a mysterious law student/amateur boxer that the Vera-Vaughn sisters meet in the new world in which they now find themselves.
Jordan has starred in such Broadway shows as The Phantom of the Opera, Hamilton, My Fair Lady, and the Lincoln Center Theater’s gala production of Camelot. He’s also appeared on television in Curb Your Enthusiasm and Blue Bloods.
Filming is currently underway and the show will return Friday, October 11th at 8pm on The CW.
The CW has announced several premiere dates for their returning and new shows coming to the fall 2019-2020 season.
The premieres will kick off at the start of October with Batwoman, starring Ruby Rose, on Sunday, October 6th. The newest superhero series will be paired with Supergirl.

In “Ambush”, with the Elders feeling that their lives are still in danger, the sisters and Harry (Rupert Evans) band together to try and stop the evil that is happening. Mel (Melonie Diaz) and Maggie (Sarah Jeffery) become concerned when Macy (Madeleine Mantock) starts to tap more easily into her demon side.
Meanwhile, Niko (Ellen Tamaki) and Mel seem to be in a good place until Mel messes it up.
Charmed airs TONIGHT, May 5th @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.
Star Sarah Jeffery shared a fun retrospective on her Instagram with a ton of behind-the-scenes pics from the set.
“When I tested for this role at good ol CBS Radford, I saw the deadline article for @meloniediaz ‘s casting while I was in the waiting room and went, oh wow. we definitely look like we could be sisters… for some cosmic reason it calmed my nerves a little,” Sarah confessed in the caption. “liiiittle did I know (literally I had no idea this role was going to be mine), that I’d be joining her, @missmads, @rupert_evans, @etamaki, @nickhargrove, @serdariusblain and many more for the most wild 22 episodes ever😈 and here we are at the finish line!”

Charmed will be back for a season two in the fall on The CW.
