Peyton List Promoted To Series Regular For 'Cobra Kai' Season 4!

Peyton List just got a promotion on Cobra Kai!

The 22-year-old actress, who plays Tory Nichols, has been upped to a series regular role in the upcoming fourth season, Variety reveals.

Peyton‘s co-star Vanessa Rubio, who plays Carmen Diaz, has also been promoted to series regular.

Cobra Kai also just got two new cast members in Dallas Dupree Young and Oona O’Brien.

Dallas will recur as “Kenny, a bullied new kid in school who turns to karate as a way to defend himself.”

Oona will also recur, as “Devon, a potential new karate student who is relentlessly competitive, a quick study, and equally quick-tempered when she’s provoked.”

Cobra Kai season three premiered on Netflix on New Year’s Day to massive success. The streaming service revealed that 41 million households tuned in to watch the new season, the first to premiere on Netflix since the show’s move from YouTube.

'Cobra Kai' Creators Are Giving An Update On Season 4 After Early Season 3 Premiere

Cobra Kai season three has only been out for less than a week and we’re already talking about the next season!

If you didn’t know, the hit Netflix show received an early fourth season renewal back in October.

Now, in a new interview, the show’s co-creators Josh Heald and Jon Hurwitz are dishing on it’s future and when we could expect a new season.

“We are looking to make Season 4 in 2021,” Josh told PopCulture.com. “COVID has thrown a wrench into everyone’s plans for exactly when production begins. But our expectation is in early 2021, we will be in production. We are just keeping our heads down and making sure that the story makes sense and the scripts are solid and getting our ducks in a row so the moment that everything looks good, we can begin.”

“The beauty is our stages have so many sets at this point,” he added. “Things that used to be locations, we’ve built onstage. …The moment that it’s a go, we will be ready to jump with very little prep.”

Jon also shared that they have been planning on many more seasons of Cobra Kai.

“We have plans for several more seasons of the show,” he told the site. “When we starting writing Season 1, we had a clear sense where we wanted things to end, but we never knew exactly how long it would take to get there… We’ve written Season 4, or most of it. We have thoughts beyond that, and it’s going to be an ongoing dialogue with Netflix.”

Netflix Announces 'Cobra Kai' Season 3 Will Premiere Earlier + New Stills!

Cobra Kai fans got a sweet Christmas Eve present from Netflix!

The streaming service announced that the upcoming third season will now premiere one week earlier on January 1st.

“cobra kai, New Years day 2021,” Netflix captioned a video on Instagram.

“‘I heard you all whining about Season 3 taking forever. So I called the pawn shop and the guy walked me through this Netflix thing. Dude knows his stuff. Now you get it a week early. See you on New Year’s, nerds.’ – Johnny Lawrence 🐍,” they wrote in the description on YouTube.
