Country singing duo Dan + Shay snap a selfie during their visit at rehearsals for the 2014 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City on Tuesday night (November 25).
The twosome were joined by fellow country star and actress, Lucy Hale.

Maddie Marlow and Tae Dye turn up the glamour for the 2014 CMA Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday night (November 5) in Nashville, Tenn.
The country duo were joined at the main event by Nashville‘s Aubrey Peeples, Lennon and Maisy Stella, plus singers Katie Armiger, Colton and Zach Swon and Dan & Shay.
Earlier in the week, Maddie and Tae stopped by the 2014 ASCAP Country Music Awards and the CMT Next Women Of Country.

Dan + Shay stop by the Elvis Duran Morning Show at the Z100 Studios in New York City on Wednesday morning (July 30).
The guys — Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney — chatted up their album, Where It All Began, and hitting the road with Blake Shelton.
“Blake is super funny. He’s just an everyday guy, playing basketball all day and hanging out,” Dan recently dished to CMT. “He actually came up on our bus a while ago, and he told us this funny story. This [tour] bus is pretty old, if you can’t tell.
He continued, “And so when Blake came up here, he was like, ‘Hey, man. I think this might be my old bus. I actually had it painted blue because they were asking me what color I wanted my bus, and I was holding a Bud Light can at the time, and I just told them to paint it this color.’”

Dan + Shay get the feel for the stage during rehearsals for the 2014 CMT Music Awards inside the Bridgestone Arena on Monday night (June 2) in Nashville, Tenn.
The hot new duo are up for Duo Video of the Year at this year’s show, for their debut single, “19 You and Me”.
“Watching music videos on @CMT this morning. PUMPED for the #CMTawards tomorrow night!” Dan + Shay tweeted, getting excited for the show tomorrow night.
Later this year, after wrapping up tours with both Hunter Hayes and Blake Shelton, Dan + Shay will hit the road on their own for the Where It All Began Tour, which kicks off on October 9th.

Dan + Shay pull out their peace signs after performing at the 2014 Stagecoach Country Music Festival held at the Empire Polo Club on Saturday afternoon (April 26) in Indio, Calif.

“We wanted to give a little shout out to Myrtle Beach since it is a great place and it is a great family destination,” Dan shared recently about their hit debut single, “19 You + Me”.
He added, “Myrtle Beach has been great to us throughout the life of this single.”

“We met in December [2012], actually, at his house, at a party,” Shay shared of their chance meeting that launched the partnership. “I get to this party, I’m walking in this old house. It was a terrible house, of course, a typical Nashville starting-artist house. I’m walking into the living room, and there is just a tent … it was borderline fort-ish.”
Dan continued, “I had no money to pay for heat, so I went to the thrift store and bought a bunch of sheets. [We] tented out the whole living room, and we retained all the heat in there. We all just hung out, huddled around … Shay and I were jamming that night, and we’ve been writing three songs a day every since.”
