Meghan Trainor is sharing an emotional video with her fans.
The 27-year-old “No Excuses” singer welcomed her first child, Riley, with husband Daryl Sabara in February and posted a TikTok on Friday (April 23) about his experience in the hospital.
The video, which is set to Forest Blakk‘s “If You Love Herâ€, shows Riley undergoing treatment in the NICU during the first few days of his life. In some of the clips, Meghan is seen Facetiming with the nurses as she wasn’t allowed to enter the hospital.
Luckily, Riley seems to have made a total recovery.
“We had a rocky start,” Meghan captioned the post. “But Riley is perfect, happy and healthy 💙 so lucky to be your mama sweet boy.”
The 26-year-old pregnant singer went on The Kelly Clarkson Show and shared the couple’s baby’s gender.
“We’ve never told anyone… I saved it for you Kelly, I love you!” Meghan said to Kelly Clarkson. “I did all those look online of how fast is the heartbeat, where do your hips go, and I was like oh it must be this. I was wrong. They’re going to tell you ’cause they never get to tell anyone.”
“It’s a boy!!!” her brother and Daryl shouted excitedly from a video monitor.
“🥰🎉🎊🤰ðŸ¼I LOVE YOU @KellyClarksonTV !!!!!!!!” Meghan wrote on Twitter with the video announcement.
Meghan Trainor just revealed that she is pregnant and we’re sending our congratulations to her and her husband Daryl Sabara!
The news was revealed during her appearance on the Today show on Wednesday (October 7).
“We’re so excited we couldn’t sleep,” Meghan said about revealing the news. “We’ve been waiting for so long. I was thinking about who do we tell first and I’ve told Hoda since I was 19, going to the Today show, ‘I will have the most babies in the world.’ ”
The happy couple wed back in December of 2018 and you may remember that she has been very vocal about wanting to start a family as soon as they could. She said back in February it was her goal to get pregnant!

During a recent interview on the podcast “Pretty Big Deal With Ashley Graham”, host Ashley Graham asked her, “What’s the biggest deal you’ve ever made?” in reference to something or someone that is a big deal in her life, and she responded with “Daryl, I guess.”
“When I met him, I was like, ‘I hate your name. Daryl? That’s your name?’ I was like, this is my guy? Daryl?
