Demi Lovato is opening up about her sexuality in a new interview.

The 28-year-old entertainer was on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast and talked about many things, including her sexuality.

Demi has previously identified as bisexual, and just recently said she was too fluid to put a label on herself.

“In this moment I want to adopt [children] for sure,” she said about wanting kids. “I also don’t know if I’m going to end up with a guy, so I cant really see myself even getting pregnant.

“I don’t know. I’m so fluid now, and a part of the reason why I am so fluid is because I was super closeted off,” she added.

Host Joe Rogan then asked about sexual fluidity, and said “What do they call that? ‘Pansexual?’”

“Yeah, pansexual,” Demi said. “[I like] anything, really.”

“I’m part of the alphabet mafia and proud,” she said, referring to the LGBTQIA+ community. “Why can’t we just say queer, y’all? Nah, I’m just kidding.”

Demi Lovato‘s upcoming album Dancing With The Devil… The Art of Starting Over is perhaps her most personal album to date.

The 28-year-old entertainer’s seventh LP will touch on subjects like her overdose, her sobriety, and even her short lived romance with Max Ehrich last year.

Demi‘s album features a song called “15 Minutes,” which EW reports is a “savagely upbeat banger” that turns Max’s clout chaser comments back onto him. In the song, Demi sings, “Good riddance — you got your 15 minutes.”

“I really had myself fooled, because it was the safe and expected thing,” she told EW about the relationship. “Obviously I cared deeply about the person, but there was something inside of me that was like, ‘I have to prove to the world that I’m okay.’ Now that I’m not engaged or married and I’m okay, I’m like, ‘Wow. Isn’t that so much more empowering?’ It’s not this false sense of security.”

“Also, the size of that ring, it made it really real. The second it was off, I was like, ‘You know what? I’m good. I don’t need that.’ I just don’t need an object on my finger to make me feel like I’ve got my s— together,” Demi added. “It looks like stability, but it doesn’t mean that it is. And I don’t actually grow through stability. I find that I like living not in chaos or crisis, but in fluidity. It’s not [being] stuck and stagnant in an ideal or a tradition that was placed upon us by the patriarchy.”

Demi‘s new song will be featured on her upcoming album Dancing with the Devil… the Art of Starting Over, which she will be releasing next Friday, April 2. She recently revealed a big collab that will be on the album!

On “Dancing with the Devil,” Demi sings about her near-fatal overdose back in 2018.

Demi first debuted the song earlier this week at the premiere of her new YouTube docu-series.

Demi Lovato has just unveiled all of the song titles from her upcoming seventh studio album!

The 28-year-old singer and actress is a week out from releasing her long-awaited LP Dancing With The Devil… The Art of Starting Over.

She’s already released two of the songs, and the title track “Dancing With The Devil” will be out in just a few hours (at the time of this post).

Other songs included are three girl power duets – “Met Him Last Night” with Ariana Grande, “Easy” with Noah Cyrus and “My Girlfriends Are My Boyfriend” with Saweetie.

She also has a song that is seemingly dedicated to her little sister Madison De La Garza.

The upcoming album will feature 19 tracks. If you purchase one of the alternate covers on her site, you also get a bonus track, AND if you get the Target exclusive edition, that comes with 2 more tracks. There are a total of three bonus tracks across the different versions.

Demi Lovato and the cast of Glee are both set to return to the GLAAD Awards for the upcoming April 8th ceremony.

Glee stars will reunite to honor the late Naya Rivera and her character Santana Lopez with a special tribute, with an introduction from Demi, who played Naya‘s love interest in season five.

According to GLAAD, the tribute will honor the ten-year anniversary of Santana’s coming out as lesbian in the GLAAD Media Award-winning series and spotlight the character’s impact on LGBTQ teens and Latinx LGBTQ representation on television.

Glee cast members set to appear include Jacob Artist, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss, Vanessa Lengies, Jane Lynch, Kevin McHale, Heather Morris, Matthew Morrison, Alex Newell, Amber Riley, Harry Shum Jr., Becca Tobin, and Jenna Ushkowitz.

“I’m honored to be joining my GLEE co-stars at the #GLAADawards to pay tribute to LGBTQ teens and honor the legacy and impact of Naya Rivera and her character Santana Lopez. April 8 on @hulu and @YouTube @GLAAD,” Darren shared on Twitter.

Also set to separately appear at the 2021 GLAAD Awards is Matt Bomer, who was a guest star on Glee.

Back in 2016, Demi received the GLAAD’s Vanguard Award, while Glee has picked up two GLAAD Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2010 and 2011.

The 2021 GLAAD Awards will take place on April 8th, premiering exclusively on GLAAD’s YouTube page starting at 8pm ET/PT. It will also start streaming on Hulu starting at 10pm ET/PT that night, and be available to stream on-demand on Hulu until the end of June.

Demi Lovato‘s new docu-series Demi Lovato: Dancing With The Devil has premiere it’s first two episodes.

The 28-year-old entertainer, as well as her close friends and family, shares jarring details about her overdose in the second episode.

In the first episode, Demi and her inner circle talk about the couple of weeks leading up to her overdose and in the second, they go all in on what happened and her time in the hospital.

Demi‘s parents Eddie and Dianna, sisters Dallas and Madison, best friends Matthew Scott Montgomery and Sirah, as well as her former assistant Jordan Jackson, former choreographer and creative director Dani Vitale, longtime head of security Max Lea and her neurologist Dr. Shouri Lahiri, all talk about when they found out she overdosed and what transpired in the time after.

In the doc, Demi‘s former assistant talks about the moment that she found her in her room.

“Honestly, I thought she was just drunk or hungover so I started to nudge her a little bit… She wasn’t really moving. She was drooling. I called security, ‘She’s not waking up. She’s not really responding. I don’t really know what to do,’” Jordan recalled.

She recalled having to sneak away to call 911 and not wanting to get into trouble for calling.

Demi also opened up about how she had come from celebrating Dani‘s birthday and after everyone was leaving, she said she was going to bed, but she really had called her dealer to come over, and she revealed what drugs she had started taking and what she got that night. She also explained that what happened that night was not only her overdosing, but she was also taken advantage of by him.

“And when they found me [the next morning], I was naked, I was blue,” Demi says. “I was literally left for dead after he took advantage of me. And when I woke up in the hospital, they asked if I had had consensual sex. And there was one flash that I had of him on top of me. I saw that flash and I said yes. It actually wasn’t until maybe a month after my overdose that I realized, ‘Hey, you weren’t in any state of mind to make a consensual decision.’”

Demi Lovato is speaking out about making it past her 27th birthday.

The entertainer will be turning 29 later this year, and in a new interview that aired before her docu-series premiere, she opened up about surviving the “27 Club.”

“Sometimes I still deal with like survivor’s guilt. There’s a lot of musicians that just don’t make it and I was very close to being one of them,” Demi said. “So at certain times after my overdose, where I have said something wrong or gotten attacked or whatever, and people come after me and say, ‘Oh, well I wish it would have been you instead of so and so,’ like that really affects me.”

“It got into my head so much so that I kind of started believing it for a while, and I think that’s why I ended up, you know, slipping, which I talk about,” she continued. “And I think it’s embracing what I went through as a giant lesson for me. I will continued to live every day at my fullest potential because aside from some of the musicians and entertainers that haven’t made it, I think about my friends that haven’t made it.”

“Say I’m having a bad day today, I’m like, ‘You know, I’m having a really bad day today, and so and so is not here to have a bad day,’ so I’m going to either try to flip this bad day around or just like embrace it for what it is as a bad day,” Demi said. “Then use people for support. You know, call up my therapist. You know, it’s taught me a lot. I had to change my way of thinking, from survivor’s guilt to this was a lesson, and live your life to the fullest now.”

If you didn’t know, the “27 Club” refers to a group of popular entertainers, including musicians and actors, who have died at the age of 27 due to drug or alcohol abuse, or violent means, such as suicide, homicide or by a car-related accident.

Stars who have died at 27 include Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, Anton Yelchin and more.
