We are days away from the new Gossip Girl premiering and we just got even more of a look at the upcoming first episode of the revival!

The HBO Max series teased the return with a new clip, which features Eli Brown and Jordan Alexander sharing a kiss (they play a couple) as the group arrives for the first day of school.

'Gossip Girl' Ladies Get In a Group Photo at Their Series Premiere

The women of Gossip Girl snap a cute group photo while attending the premiere of their upcoming show on Wednesday night (June 30) at Spring Studios in New York City.

Jordan Alexander, Whitney Peak, Emily Alyn Lind, Whitney Peak and Tavi Gevinson all posed for the group shot.

Zion Moreno was also in attendance, along with Donna Murphy, who plays the headmistress, Laura Benanti, who appears to play Emily‘s character’s mom, and Megan Ferguson, plus Kareena Evans, who directed the first two episodes.

The Gossip Girl revival trailer has FINALLY been released!

HBO Max dropped the official trailer for the upcoming teen drama reboot, which will be available for streaming on July 8.

series stars Jordan Alexander, Eli Brown, Thomas Doherty, Tavi Gevinson, Emily Alyn Lind, Evan Mock, Zion Moreno, Whitney Peak and Savannah Lee Smith.

Here’s a synopsis: This extension of the pop culture classic takes us back to the Upper East Side finding a new generation of New York private school teens being introduced to social surveillance nine years after the original blogger’s website went dark. Gossip Girl explores just how much social media — and the landscape of New York itself — has changed in the intervening years.

The new series is of course based off of the books by Cecily von Ziegesar and the original show. It was developed by showrunner Joshua Safran, who was a writer and producer on the original series, which was created by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, who also executive produce the revival.

If you missed it, one of the original Gossip Girl stars revealed if they would ever return for the revival.

'Gossip Girl' Revival Showrunner Reveals HBO Max Premiere Month & New Character Details

Joshua Safran, the showrunner of the upcoming Gossip Girl revival, has revealed when the show is coming out!

Fans can expect to see the new series on HBO Max THIS July, as revealed in the cast’s new Cosmopolitan cover story.

Joshua shared the cover feature on Twitter, and wrote, “Oh hi also: show drops in July.”

“My hope is that we make it to airing and people don’t know,” Joshua said about keeping details super under wraps. “I would love to see that conversation happen in the context of people having seen it as opposed to talking about something they haven’t seen.”
