Emily Osment is set to star as Roxy in the upcoming, still untitled pilot from Annie Weisman and Jason Katims, Deadline reports.
The former Young & Hungry actress will star with Brittany Snow and Megalyn Echikunwoke in the project, based on Australian series, Sisters.
The drama centers on Julia Bechley (Snow), an only child who finds her life turned upside down when her father is forced to reveal that over the course of his pioneering career as a fertility doctor, he used his own sperm to conceive dozens of children.
As she dutifully begins to track down her emerging group of siblings, among a sea of brothers, Julia discovers only two sisters, Roxy (Osment) and Edie (Echikunwoke) – both of whom quickly become a part of her now redefined family.
Roxy is described as a “feisty, unfiltered & impulsive, irrepressible compact spark plug of a woman.” She’s also a former Olympic gymnast who is now a “Sports Legend of Yesteryear.â€
Emily Osment heads back to her car after attending Elton John‘s Farewell Concert stop at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (January 30).
The 26-year-old actress, who recently attended the 2019 SAG Awards over the weekend, got started filming the second season of The Kominsky Method this week.
Just a week earlier, Emily was reminded that it’s been eight years since the final Hannah Montana episode aired.

If you didn’t know, Emily is nominated with her Kominsky Method co-stars for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
The Netflix series was just renewed for a second season, and Emily will return as Theresa, one of the students in the Sandy Kominsky’s acting class.
Only actors are able to vote for the SAG Awards, which celebrate acting in both movies and television. Tune in for the show TONIGHT at 8pm EST / 5pm PST on both TNT and TBS.

Emily Osment and Ryan Rottman have a full-on glitter fight in the official trailer for their new holiday movie, Christmas Wonderland.
In the flick, New York art dealer Heidi Nelson (Osment) agrees to return to her hometown of Pleasant Valley, Pennsylvania to watch her niece and nephew when their parents are suddenly called out of town.
There, she comes face to face with her high school love, Chris Shepherd (Rottman), and commits to help him organize the school’s big Christmas dance.
Before long, Heidi becomes torn between the life she built in the city and the life she has rediscovered back in Pleasant Valley, embracing her true passion.
Emily revealed on her Instagram that the movie will also feature a new, original song from her newly formed band, BlueBiird. We can’t wait to hear it!
