Party of Five, a reimagining of the original 1994-2000 series, will debut on Freeform on Wednesday, January 8th @ 8PM ET/PT.

The billboard features two sides, with the parents on one side, and the kids on the other, showing how the family is broken apart and living in separate countries.

Emily Tosta serves up a plate of food while working and serving at the Los Angeles Mission’s Thanksgiving For The Homeless event held at Los Angeles Mission on Wednesday afternoon (November 27) in Los Angeles.
The event usually serves over 3,000 pounds of turkey and full meals to those experiencing homelessness in the city. The event also hands out around 1,400 blankets and 1,200 tarps in preparation for the colder winter months.

During the panel discussion, Emily opened up about why it wasn’t difficult to connect with her character, who must deal with the loss of her parents after they are suddenly deported to Mexico.
“I came here when I was 12 from the Dominican Republic. It took a lot of struggle, it took a lot of acceptance from other people…I could pull a lot from that,” Emily said (via Deadline).

Their circumstances force her to reevaluate her disposition to play by the rules and she quickly becomes resistant to authority, politically radicalized and rebellious to her presumed duties as the oldest sister.
