Colleen Ballinger has finally revealed her newborn son’s name in a brand new vlog!
“We didn’t know what we wanted to name him,” Colleen shared about naming her son with fiance, Erik Stocklin. “We had a girl name picked out fairly quickly, but then we found out we were having a boy and have been trying to figure it out. The day came when he was born and everyone was asking us his name, and we didn’t know.”
Just ahead of premiering the video, Colleen shared a few cute pics on her Instagram with her baby.
“It’s going to take me a while to get up so please be patient,” she wrote about the video on Twitter. “I need to take a few days to stare at my adorable son…can’t believe i actually gave birth to a whole ass human. that’s wild.”
Colleen announced the news on her Twitter account after letting her fans know she was in labor.
She tweeted out to her fans, writing, “he’s perfect,” and “he came so early! he didn’t want to miss Christmas!”
She also added, “literally he looks exactly like erik. it’s almost spooky how much they look alike. a full on mini me! he’s so cute!!! i can’t stop staring at him! he’s so perfect!”
The 31-year-old creator opened up about her gender reveal and why she chose to find out the way she did.
“I’ve seen a lot of gender reveals online and they’re all so fancy and really intense,” she shared. “That is not me. If you’re looking for really fancy, beautiful reveal, you’re on the wrong channel.”
Colleen added, “I was a mess. I feel like I needed to say that [before you watch]. It wasn’t well thought out or planned out…It’s very me.”
Colleen Ballinger is wearing some gorgeous bling on her left ring finger these days – a pink sapphire, oval ring that definitely sparkles in the sunlight.
Colleen explains in her new vlog that “when Erik proposed to me, he gave me the stone that’s gonna go on my wedding ring. It’s been in his family for many generations but he wanted to design the ring together which I thought was the sweetest thing in the world.”
In the meantime though, they also purchased this pink ring that she’ll be wearing on her upcoming tour and before the actual ring is done.
“We just wanted another ring to celebrate life while we’re waiting on my actual engagement ring to be made.”
On top of expecting their first child together, the couple who starred in Haters Back Off together, are also engaged!
In an interview with People, Colleen revealed that Erik proposed after she told him she was pregnant.
“He’d been planning it for so long and we’ve been talking for so long about getting married and having kids, but then this happened first,†Colleen shared. “He was like, ‘I don’t want you to think that I did this for any other reason other than that I love you so much.’ It was so sweet.â€
She adds that he’s “so wonderful. I’ve never been treated so amazing. He treats me like a princess, especially through this pregnancy.”
“Every morning he brings me breakfast in bed and he brings me my vitamins. He gives me shoulder rubs every night. And brings me presents. He is my biggest cheerleader and just the best partner in the world. I feel lucky.â€
The 31-year-old actress and creator revealed the news on social media today, showing off all her friends’ reactions in an adorable new reveal interview. This might just be why there’s no more touring planned.
