Casting for Batgirl is underway and there are four actresses that are top contenders for the coveted role!
Deadline reports that they are expected to be screen testing this week, although one of them might have already bowed out.
Batgirl will have her own standalone movie, and will premiere on HBO Max, making it one of the first major DC properties to exclusively go to the streamer.

The Gossip Girl revival trailer has FINALLY been released!
HBO Max dropped the official trailer for the upcoming teen drama reboot, which will be available for streaming on July 8.

Here’s a synopsis: This extension of the pop culture classic takes us back to the Upper East Side finding a new generation of New York private school teens being introduced to social surveillance nine years after the original blogger’s website went dark. Gossip Girl explores just how much social media — and the landscape of New York itself — has changed in the intervening years.
The new series is of course based off of the books by Cecily von Ziegesar and the original show. It was developed by showrunner Joshua Safran, who was a writer and producer on the original series, which was created by Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, who also executive produce the revival.
If you missed it, one of the original Gossip Girl stars revealed if they would ever return for the revival.
Mason Gooding, Emily Rudd and Lukas Gage are the latest stars added to the cast of the HBO Max movie Moonshot!
