Joey King celebrated a big occasion over the weekend – her sister Hunter King‘s engagement!
Hunter‘s longtime boyfriend Nico Svoboda proposed to her on Saturday (August 18) and the couple arrived home to a surprise party with all of their friends and family.
“What an amazing night!!!!! my insanely amazing perfect fantastic sister/best friend @hunterking got engaged to one of the absolute greatest guys in the world @neekotto !!!!! I love you both so much!!!! Here’s a recap of the GREATEST surprise party ever, including me falling asleep in an engagement ring balloon at the end 😂,” Joey captioned the below slideshow of photos.

The 19-year-old actress, best known for her work in Netflix’s The Kissing Booth, is set to play a pregnant teen in a recurring guest role on the CBS comedy series Life in Pieces. Her older sister Hunter King is a series regular on the show.
Joey will be playing “Morgan, a pregnant 17-year-old who plans to place her baby with adoptive parents Matt (Thomas Sadoski) and Colleen (Angelique Cabral),” according to TV Line.
You can currently see Joey on the big screen in the movie Slender Man. Hunter also stars on CBS’ The Young and the Restless.
Joey King has a new horror movie coming to theaters this weekend and she gathered her friends to get a sneak peek of the Slender Man scares before the film gets released!
The 19-year-old actress was joined by co-stars Annalise Basso and Julia Goldani Telles at a special screening of their movie on Wednesday (August 8) at the iPic Theater in Westwood, Calif.
The ladies were joined at the event by co-star Alex Fitzalan, along with producer Brad Fischer.
Joey has a bunch of friends at the screening, including sister Hunter King, Seth Green, Lydia Hearst, Abby Quinn, and Kevin Miles. Her future The Bayou co-star Dylan O’Brien also stepped out to show support.
Slender Man is about a group of friends in a small town in Massachusetts, who are fascinated by the internet lore of the Slender Man and attempt to prove that he doesn’t actually exist – until one of them mysteriously goes missing. The film hits theaters on August 10!

Joey King is red-hot at a screening of her new Netflix film The Kissing Booth!
The actress turned heads at the event and after-party held at Netflix on Thursday (May 10) in Los Angeles.
She was joined by her co-stars Jacob Elordi – who is also her real-life boyfriend – Carson White, Joel Courtney, and director Vince Marcello.
Joey‘s sisters Hunter and Kelli King, as well as Just Jared‘s Jared Eng, also stepped out to show their support.
The Kissing Booth, in which a high school student is forced to confront her secret crush at a kissing booth, premieres on the streaming service today, so be sure to check it out!

Many young celebrities are speaking out today with outrage, disgust, and sadness after a press conference in which President Donald Trump said “both sides” are to blame for the violence in violence in Charlottesville.
“You had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists,” he said. “The press has treated them absolutely unfairly. Now, in the other group also, you had some fine people but you also had troublemakers.”
Trump also blamed counter-protestors, calling them the “alt left.”
