The streaming service announced that the upcoming third season will now premiere one week earlier on January 1st.
“cobra kai, New Years day 2021,” Netflix captioned a video on Instagram.
“‘I heard you all whining about Season 3 taking forever. So I called the pawn shop and the guy walked me through this Netflix thing. Dude knows his stuff. Now you get it a week early. See you on New Year’s, nerds.’ – Johnny Lawrence ðŸ,” they wrote in the description on YouTube.

The third season is of course premiering on Netflix, which is the show’s new home since it was acquired from YouTube.

Cobra Kai season three debuts January 8th on Netflix.
It was recently announced that the show has already been picked up for a fourth season, ahead of the season three debut!

Instead of having a normal awards show this year, MTV decided to honor the biggest and best moments in film and TV from the 80s until now. The 90-minute special has live presenters, but nearly all of the winners so far are accepting via satellite.
Maddie, Sabrina, and Sofia are all presenting at the event and other presenters who were there included Peyton List and Cobra Kai stars Xolo Maridueña and Jacob Bertrand.

Peyton List and Mary Mouser join in on a fun group pic at the premiere of YouTube Original’s Cobra Kai season two held at The Paley Center for Media on Monday night (April 22) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The two actresses joined co-stars Tanner Buchanan, Jacob Bertrand, and Xolo Mariduena, plus Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Courtney Henggeler, and more for the screening and conversation.
The new season centers on the personal feud between Daniel and Johnny, which escalates beyond their differences to engulf their students, who as teenagers, are already challenged to figure out who they are and who they want to be. Which path will they follow – Cobra Kai or Miyagi-Do?
Cobra Kai will premiere April 24th on YouTube.
