Liam Hemsworth flashes a small smile while making an appearance at SiriusXM to promote his upcoming film Independence Day: Resurgence on Wednesday (June 15) in New York City.

The 26-year-old actor and his co-stars Vivica A. Fox, Jeff Goldblum and Jessie T. Usher chatted together for an episode of Town Hall on Entertainment Weekly Radio.

Meanwhile, Liam‘s rumored fiance Miley Cyrus tried to keep her face covered as and a few friends headed into an office building in the Big Apple.

The night before, the duo showed some PDA as they held hands while heading out for a night on the town.

A brand new television spot for Independence Day: Resurgence, starring Liam Hemsworth and Maika Monroe, has just been released.

The clip is pretty scary and is titled “They’re Coming Back,” referring to the alien invasion in the first film!

Here’s a synopsis of the film: Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

The movie hits theaters on June 24.
