Jesse McCartney just released a brand new song and music video – “Yours“!

The 33-year-old singer and actor opened up about the meaning behind the new track.

“It sort of sums up my life in a pop song,” Jesse told Billboard. “What it’s been like, and all these different roles I’ve played for so many people — ultimately coming to the conclusion that my new favorite role is to be somebody’s very special person, and how important that is for me as well.”

He also shared that “Yours” was written over a year ago in March 2019 as part of a new project, though he’s not sure if it will be an EP or a full length album.

David Archuleta looked up to Jesse McCartney when he was younger!

The 29-year-old singer shared on Instagram that he would watch the 33-year-old entertainer since he was in the boy band Dream Street.

“@JesseMcCartney paved the way for me as a young male vocalist who liked to add a little soul to his pop music,” David wrote. “I grew up around Jesse McCartney’s music when he was in the group Dream Street because my older sister was a HUGE fan of them. He’s always been able to sing great from the start. Love this song and the words are 👌👌 #beautifulsoul #pianocover #quarantinecovers”

Along with the sweet words, David covered Jesse‘s hit song “Beautiful Soul”. He also recently released a new song and music video – “OK, All Right”.

Jesse McCartney and Katie Peterson are celebrating their first holiday season as an engaged couple!

The “Better With You” singer posted an Instagram video of himself and his fiancee decorating their Christmas tree on Saturday (December 7) at their home in Los Angeles.

“Tis the Season! 🎄,” he captioned it. “Tis the time lapse,” Katie added in her Stories.

The couple kept it festive in their matching striped red and white pajamas.

Bella Thorne and Sofia Richie were among the many celebrities who stepped out to check out the opening of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel’s new Guitar Hotel on Thursday (October 24) in Hollywood, Fla.

The stars were joined at the event by Sofia‘s boyfriend Scott Disick, Dancing With the Stars contestant Ally Brooke, and singer Jesse McCartney with his fiancee Katie Peterson.

Hard Rock’s new hotel is the world’s first hotel shaped like a guitar. The 638-room Guitar Hotel was part of a $1.5 billion expansion of the resort and it took three years to create.

Jesse McCartney popped the question to his longtime love Katie Peterson!

The “Just So You Know” crooner proposed to Katie at Cut by Wolfgang Puck at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on Friday (September 13) in Beverly Hills, Calif., Us Weekly reports.

The duo was reportedly eating at the restaurant with a group of people. When Wolfgang entered the room, Jesse got down on one knee and proposed, leading the room to go quiet before breaking out into applause.

Jesse and Katie then enjoyed some drinks in celebration, including champagne. The group chowed down on sliders, melon salad, ribeye, peach pie, and more.

Jesse McCartney and Katie Peterson have been dating since 2012, and they celebrate their anniversary every year on social media around September 14.

Congrats to the happy couple!
